Copped bleachers for Sunday, on Monday for 30 and today they're 99. Crazy what a hot start and a nice day will do for ticket prices.
 
Good ****. I passed on a free ticket in the bleachers for Sunday but it's fine. I want to take my Son to his first Cubs game (at Wrigley) but it's so expensive for a family trip (gotta bring the wife too, ya know 
laugh.gif
).  It's tough to justify such an expensive day anymore when nowadays sports are straight made for TV. But I gotta at least check out renovated Wrigley. 
 
And Arrieta 8 shutout innings. Hasn't given up a run at Wrigley since July. :pimp:

Need a great Lester start to take the series tomorrow.
 
Pedro Strop and Hector Rondon has been really good closers. i hope they keep improving. That Travis Wood guy was about to make the game interested in the 9th inning. Geez
 
Great day yesterday. Beautiful weather. Back to back HRs, Arrietta Beast, and Fowler with the dagger.

First time seeing Jake pitch. It was awesome.
 
Tough loss today.

Lester had a good outing.

Painful one this weekend.

Now we face the Cards for 3 after all their crying during the off season. Wonder if maybe we were lookin ahead a lil bit and it bit us.
 
Every Cub starting pitcher has gone 6+ innings the first 13 games. :pimp:

Lackey with 7 shutout innings tonight. Excellent all around.
 
Hope cubbies keep it going. now we go into hammel/kendrick spots in the rotation against these cards. :smh:
