RBI double from Bryant to start, but couldn't get him in with Rizz/Zo/Addy. Clean that up fellas.
 
Javy is first Cub with two extra base hits and a stolen base in a playoff game, ever.

:lol: granted, we don't have a ton of playoff history.
 
Did not like taking Lester out after only 6. We've used like 6 pitchers since, and now we bring Chapman into the 8th with the bases loaded when he's told you he doesn't like those situations. Jesus christ
 
Got two K's, couldn't get a third, vs a lefty. Shoulda been out of it.

i didnt like lester coming out there but i sort of see maddy thinking about getting insurance runs.

BUT I definitely think our bullpen is slipping a bit. yes chapman kept it tied but the setup guys are not shutting it down. LA hit solidly tonight no doubt.

Hendricks better bring it since the pen got some work this game.

I can hardly ever go against what Joe does but yes, that had me a little puzzled. Up 3-1 with Jon going out for the 7th is pretty good in my book, let Jon hack away with the bases loaded. Then bring Strop/Edwads and Wood/Montgomery in 8th. It may result in the same thing but at least you spare some of the pen. At the end, we got the W. This team is amazing. On to game 2.
 
Game 1 was an important win for us because Kershaw on the mound tonight. our bullpen especially Strop and Rondon gotta step there game up.

Rizzo and Russ man need to have the bats come alive. Baez has been great this post season!
