The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

 Eddie may somehow be Cobalt Blue, it may explain why Zoom had the man in the iron mask caged with The Flash. Cobalt can steal the Flash's speed.

Nah Zoom didn't capture him. Flash sent him back to his time so he could save Cisco. Also if the dude in the mask was Thawne he would have phased out of the cell. You could argue that maybe zoom stole his speed already, but if that's the case then there's no reason to keep him alive or imprisoned. 
 
We should make a deal whoever guess the man in the iron mask gets a rep from everyone in this thread. Just sayin. I'm going with Thawne

Yooooo I didn't even think of Eddie that would be a twist, but I was talking about Eobord. Eddie would be mind blown, I don't think anyone would guess that since he been out so long.

Something just makes me think it's Barry's dad or his doppelgänger. We haven't seen him in a while, ever since Zoom broke Barry's back I believe.

The other possibility is that it's a Jay from another Earth. Maybe the Jay (or Barry) from Supergirl's Earth? We know there's more than 2 Earth's because of Supergirl and Barry traveling there.

We've seen a total of 3 Jay's so far. Who's to say Zoom's actually from Earth-2?

I like the idea of it being a Thawne in the iron mask. I'll throw another idea in the hat, what if it's Wally West? Barry is going to Supergirl's Earth which has Superman which probably also has the rest of the JL. What if it's the Barry or Wally West of that Earth? I mean Barry isn't traveling to Supergirl's Earth for no reason without opening up the possibility of a Flash there.

FWIW after hearing the Thawne theory, I believe we have the answer among us. Question is who's right?

Is Earth 3 100% confirmed or are we assuming Supergirl is from a different earth?

Word. I saw that in the episode, but I wasn't sure if the earth 3 thing was speculation. Good lookin out though on the info.

Plus those were just easter eggs. Doesn't make sense that no-powers E2 Barry would have those dudes on speed dial. Only thing he has going for him is pep talking E1 Barry to vibrate through glass and acquiring Iris yambs
 
It doesn't mean Hal, Bruce and Diana have powers on Earth-2 as Earth-2 Barry doesn't

When Thawne showed up in S2 I thought that was just his first time traveling and coming to Barry's present. Which is why he asked that.

If he was captured by Zoom before that he'd be a bit more shook.

He meant it in the same way he created Flash and every other metahuman cuz of the reactor blowing up.
 
I know we're a month away but I'm super excited for the Superiglrl/Flash crossover lol

I hope they do some kind of callback to the Glee days.
 
Supergirl is pretty good.

I think what turned off people - especially male viewers - was the whole feminist slant they had going on the first couple of episodes.

Nowadays they don't focus on the whole girl power thing at all. They just focus on the story.
