Then this dude Eddie kills himself. These writers aint even following their own time travel rules. If Eobard Thawne never existed then everything he did as Reverse Flash never happened. So off the bat Barry shouldn't even be Flash. The whole timeline should just be erased.

I really thought they were gonna be ballsy and just start semi-anew for S2. Have Barry change the past and then we're in a new timeline in S2 where we all get to find out the new relationships to all the ppl we know. Some other time travel event could happen so the real Wells makes the particle accelerator and it blows up to give everyone their powers just maybe at a slightly different time. That way they're open to still have dude playing Wells back, they could make Eddie Zoom as the new villain, and do w/e new ****.

Instead I get a black hole threatening the world with no conclusion, just a hard as **** in your face cliffhanger to bring us all back for S2.

I think the black hole was a result of them destroying that timeline by letting Eddie get trigger happy

I would really like it if they kept wells in the show even if he did switch roles

Haven't seen the episode yet but that sounds like a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference which falls inline with Cisco and him being a uber nerd.

If you dissect that finale, it was horrible. Dude didn't even save his mom. Let me guess why: he simps for Iris.
 
How does Eddie's sacrifice works? Eobard disappears — but everything he did up until the finale still happened?

Our time travel, hopefully holds together as much as it can. It doesn't completely obliterate all of their memories of Eddie and everything, but it has the desired effect of "harm to Eddie means harm to Tom Cavanagh's character."

Zik was right. Most people should use time travel unless they establish rules and be consistent with them
 
I thought the finale was really good but was filled with dumb stuff. He put the whole world in jeopardy and he didn't even save her. Should've killed wells at least when he returned from the black hole.

Who did that helmet belong to that fell through the black hole?

When dr stein was talking to eddie, was that a room in star labs? I noticed there was a random female working on one of the computers. She was either an assistant of stein's or star labs has another employee that caitlin and cisco never acknowledge.
 
Nah, the Kingdom Come Flash is Wally West and probably the strongest/fastest elseworld/alternate timeline/universe Flash.

Garrick is the first Flash, just found it funny how he saw it and just wanted to get out of there.

Hmm, I feel like they messed up with this time travel/continuum business. Why does Eddie killing himself affect the Eobard from a separate timeline? Wouldn't that only prevent Eobard from being born in this current timeline? They start with a split timeline and inexplicably shift towards a unified timeline. They should clarify what time travel theory they are using for this show. :lol:

I was wondering too. I didn't remember there being a female villain on the show with black lips.
 
Now that I'm thinking about it, Thawne would have just went back into time again to try and kill Barry another way
 
i really wish RF would have lived at the end

like eddie had no idea what he was doing and everyone just thinks he shot himself for no reason at all

So since there was a wedding, that's the reason dr stein is on the spinoff and not ronnie. I guess he stays on the flash show.
 
I thought the Flash finale was awesome!  There were tons of Easter eggs for future episodes:

1) Wells telling Cisco he was affected by the particle accelerator explosion too - aka the Vibe

2) Killer Frost (aka Caitlin Snow) being shown in the speed force when Barry is going back in time

3) Cameo of Hawkgirl looking up at the black hole at the end

4) Jay Garrick (original Flash) helmet flying out of the worm hole

5) Golden Flash statue outside the Flash museum being shown in the speed force when Barry is going back in time

i thought the finale was awesome too kind of reminded me of arrow season 1. eddie screwing up the timeline and causing the black hole

.  I see it everyone will still be alive and Harrison Wells will be his true self working at star labs, only barry and cisco would have memories of these events.
