Word the dialogue made things confusing for no reason.

That wasn't Earth-2 Wells' doppelganger, it was a time traveling body snatcher. They should be calling him Thawne, he just had Wells' face.

Earth-2 Wells looking at what Earth-1's Wells done is off. Everything after his wife died was the work of Thawne who did all that stuff on purpose and earlier.
