The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

Iris was looking right. They really need to find something for her to do. She a busy body with how annoying she tries to be

Ep was okay. Tar guy was terrible.

 @ all the emphasis on Wally and driving and speed.

Ready for Earth 2 and all the evil counterparts.

Maybe Gustin getting more Ws than Barry and got it in with a 3some :smokin

New to the thread.  Somewhat binged on Netflix recently and was surprised how good stuff was.  Season two kinda falling off somewhat imo, but still got me hooked.  Mainly say that  cuz I want someone to choke Iris out

I cant be the first to feel that way, and see it mentioned in the latest comments

I'm getting so sick of this Wally West storyline. They made him such an annoying character that I don't know if he'll ever recover even when he gets his powers.

Even his whole introduction was hella annoying. His debut is when he shows up to the West house while they're celebrating Christmas and joins in but then the very next episode has him avoiding Joe and throwing temper tantrums talking about "You're not my dad!!" So if you don't want to get to know your family, why did you even show up in the first place?! :rolleyes

And now they got him acting all annoying about his love of speed. For the love of God, Flash writers, use subtle foreshadowing :smh:

Yeah because meeting your dad for the first time after 19 years is always so easy :rolleyes

I saw a story on the news last night that this woman found her mom after 82 years and when they met it was all good. She's probably too old to waste time with resentment and rebel against her mom at this point though.

Unfortunately I don't watch supergirl.....is the show ok? Serious question because it didn't really interest me when I saw the first trailer

The girl power stuff was annoying for a few episodes

Since then they've toned it down and imo, the show gets better

I like it a lot. And Cbs's cgi is very very good. Wish Flash had the same kind of cgi

I'm sure its difficult but if the writers wanted to explore that, then do it in a more nuanced and thoughtful way. They rushed through it all so fast that within the span of 3 episodes he's introduced, becomes pouty/resentful, then is super brother/son. I understand no one watches Flash for the complexities of human relationships but don't half-*** it because it just turns into a bad melodrama and makes the characters annoying.

When did he become super brother? His sister almost died because of him so he sat and tended to her

Campy would have been Wally automatically accepting Joe as his dad. The kid clearly seems to want a family but he's rebelling because they weren't there when he was growing up. You're presenting as if Wally knew this entire time that he had this family. He literally found out 3 episodes again just as we did. His reactions seem pretty normal for that life changing revelation.

That disrespectful comment he made in front of Joe's boss was real stupid. It deserved a Sparta kick to the chest.
