I would've married Patty.

She's more compatible with larry than iris is. The writers messed up by making her a better match for him. Even had her moving away to study to become a csi / forensics person like him. Like someone else mentioned she knew he was the flash and just wanted him to trust her enough to admit it to her.

Wasn't it because he wanted to protect her since she got kidnapped and people close to him are in danger? She was a cop, she's used to trouble. He's fine with wanting to be with iris since she already gets in bad situations.
 
Is Patty even based off a comic character? Might make more sense why she was written out.

Waste of an actor though.
 
Watching the first episode of the flash and Barry Allen already got..

- Got friend zone by Iris!!
- Got his *** kicked trying to protect Iris!!
- Iris admitted to Barry that Eddie is pretty to her while Barry is trying to stop his nosebleed that he received by defending Iris!!

ALL UNDER THE FIRST TEN MINUTES OF THE PILOT EPISODE.. :rofl:

It's no accident that Iris says Barry is like family to her and the same day this happens
