Tampa

I won't front, there's some nice drives on the Skyway Bridge, Gandy Bridge and 275. But that's what it is. I'm driving in. Then I'm driving OUT.

There's bad women everywhere. And I can hop on a flight anytime and wild out for the weekend in any of those cities. Anyone picking a place to live because of "bad" women already lost.

now thats a lie.

prove it

Dude probably lives in Fresno, Stockton, or Bakersfield. 1900 gets you an OK studio/apartment in the decent parts of SF, San Jose, and LA, and even then that's only if you look for a long time.

And I agree, it's always the people living in the middle of nowhere complaining. I'd rather live in a "closet" here than anywhere between California and NYC

This.

Let me move here cause the girls are pretty :rolleyes

Tampa is as poor / bad as Orlando.

Now, i'm not judging most people's lifestyle preference's here on NT. But I could never move to a city that doesn't:

A) Have a strong job outlook for my job industry
B) Have a strong economy
C) Have a strong cost of living/pay scale ratio

I wouldn't certainly move to a city just because the girls look good either

But paying 2700 for one room is winning, because of "location".  OK, sure.

And pissing off hundreds/thousands of dollars to chase pus for the weekend is also winning.

Take the L you fools are getting it with no grease, spit, nothing.

This would work in Tampa if you're a stripper.

$1900 for a 5 bed 2.5 bath 2 car garage house here in cali. 5min from the beach. foh with that small box with a view
what does one need all that space for tho?

most single people don't have 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a garage worth of items...

I said I can hop the flight. I never said I would. But you clearly missed that.

I don't know if you've heard, but NY has PLENTY of beautiful women.

I said nothing about "winning". But since you went there, I'm guessing you're losing since you're ready to live in Tampa over some "bad" women.

"a nuff" said.

I'm super good on that one.  Rather live in LA or somewhere warm and get a little more than the Ninjahood Special.

Dudes want to live like a king in the South while working at Applebee's (excluding Texas, cause the big cities are actually great for jobs)

Sense A Tive.

I guess we're one in the same seeing as you took two words from a 20 word statement and ran away with them.

I'm a open air type of person that likes dirt bikes, shooting, the beach, boating, deep sea fishing, neon lights, and beautiful exotic thick shapely women.  All of which the places that Watt mentions have which is also all of which NYC does not have, and yes your women are garboge besides the spanish ones.  And if you can't get money outside the box,  the corporate world, or what you've gone to school for; well then I hope your in the healthcare field.  Because let there be another '08 being in NY won't mean a damn thing

Thought this thread was a bump. Rather have a smaller place in NYC than live anywhere else. Only other place I'd consider would be Cali. I think I'm too much of a New Yorker to live there full time though.

For those of you with these generalizations of NYC, have you actually been here?

What are those 2 words again? Please clarify because I have no idea what you're talking about.

Are you suggesting that "nuff" is a word? Or that "a nuff" is 2 words?

Son, you are so misguided right now with everything you're saying it's ridiculous. NYC has plenty of the things you mentioned.

But here's the thing. What you're talking about is a lifestyle choice.

Not a financial one. So you're having a completely different conversation than the rest of us. Also, some of that definitely didn't make any sense, but all good.

The people that make the choice to live in NYC because it suits their lifestyle HAVE to deal with the financial aspect of this city. You obviously do not.

"garboge besides the Spanish ones" OK

Lucky for us, there's just thousands upon thousands of those.

Yall say this a lot like you've actually been out in the Atl networking actually putting your feet to the concrete and shaking hands looking for work.  It's six figure dollars out here to be made, and ain't nothing wrong with working at Applebee's pulling in 35k-40k a year when your wife is pulling in the same if not more.  You guys are snooty fools.  Dudes in other places the Atl especially are taking in half the stress, putting in half the work, getting half the money, and the still living larger then some of you NYC dudes.

You do realize that you've doubled up on the work load just to come out shorter right.  Dudes out here in the A are killing a lot of you corporate NYC, SF dudes.  They working warehouse gigs living in 5bdr homes, driving big bodies, and are taking lavish vactions.

We're going to dead all of this right now. If you haven't paid off the bank for your five bedroom home, you're a glorified renter like us NYers. You don't own a damn thing until they say you do. In our case, when our lease is up, we can go where we please without having to worry about selling a home and possibly taking a loss on the property.

You should take the time out to reevaluate what was said that sparked your responds.  And those two words I made mention of were "bad women".

I'm not even going to get overly into it.  Enjoy your ridiculously overpriced rent.  "For the lifestyle"

Like LA, MIA, and ATL aren't ******** all over you NYC yuppies.
