Incorrect, the accent is strong in all parts of the city with each borough having a different twist. To the guy practicing though, you don't have to have a NY accent to fit in but drop that god awful Chicago accent lol. Hate the way my cousins from there talk
 
^lol. I rarely hear any hate on the Chicago accent. Are they from south or the west? Cuz even I don't care for the west side accent

Either way I still got practice. I never lost my old european accents. It is still in my voice. Why people say I talk white ):

I thought we were talking about that terrible one that's always being made fun of in movies and tv.

I've only heard white people from certain parts of Brooklyn and Queens have it. That thing is terrible.
 
I'll never understand in a billion years why people live places that are cold on purpose.

If New York didn't have the weather it has I would get it.

Maybe its just me, if I could never have to experience sub 50 degree weather the rest of my life I'd be good with it.
 
I rather live in an area with different weather each season than being hot all year round or cold all year round.

America is the melting pot of the world and NY is the melting pot of America.

We hear so many different accents throughout the day we don't really care what you sound like

Nothing beats coming home to smash in a nice, warm cozy bed after walking through cold, snowing streets after eating at a nice bomb restaurant.
 
^Nahh, that's nasty.

After putting some thought into it I'd rather sound like my boy Nas than Hov. Also It would be easier to pick up on. IDK I just never liked my voice. Always got made fun of for it. I used to live in Nigeria, Switzerland, London, and Chicago (Excluding the places I've lived in for less than a year). People from Chicago know I am not from here, but can't tell where I am from, even though I have lived here since I was 9. Londonites think I am American even though Americans hate when I call myself that.

Wish I had a place to call home. I'm trying so hard to make NYC that place but my student loans say no.

Cold weather=fat women and nasty food.

Warm sunny weather=dimes and filets.

I've lived in Michigan half my life and visited New York in the summer and winter.

I used to think I wanted to live in LA or The Bay(preferably) But then I visited NYC and it changed my life. It's that serious. Anyone tryna knock NYC aint never been.

NYC women > Self centered, vain, cali air-heads.
Don't nobody care about your tofu diets and vegan lifestyle choices
