I don't buy that **** for a second.

People without rent control are raising families off min wage in places with higher crime rates and worse unemployment in borderline bankrupt cities. NYers need to stop feeling themselves.

and perhaps you need to not spew hate and talk down to people you do not know, or associate with. You don't know a NY'ers situation and you haven't walked a mile in their shoes. Get off your high horse and throw that soap box you are standing on in the garbage.

Damn. From where I am, that much can get you a 3-5 bedroom house with a pool plus enough salaries for 3 maids and a driver plus utility bills. #ThirdWorld

In this moment, I am euphoric. Not because of any phony wooden seats, but because I am enlightened by my own squatting.

I'm on my high horse for not thinking that NYers have it harder than anyone else roll.gif

I'm not even going to entertain such nonsense. You win laugh.gif

I've lived in London and got friends in NYC. Its really comparable. Most sites who say European cities like London are more expensive fail to take in purchasing power parity. Basically the US dollar value is less AND you can buy more with it. Well... not really but the best I can explain it, more like the USD PPP is high for how much it is worth i.e. a dollar menu item is a dollar here but £1.50 there instead of £.70 to make the price roughly equal. People only acknowledge that the USD is less/GBP is more which throws off the results by a lot.

i can see glendale getting worse, those AZ dudes just feel the need they have to prove something, and they especially get salty when they see a cali dude.

everyone out there is strapped and tweeked out hence all the property crime.
