Lets talk Trey Songz for a sec..

This is his best album since his debut. I know it's not saying that much, given that he's provided some trash in between those years, but I really like the sound on here.

Think you forgetting a few albums. 1-3 were good and Anticipation 1. Then the fall off happened. This is better than his last 2-3 albums though. His music just ain't the same, not sure why. He can't find his old sound.

Trey Day is my favorite album of his

i would personally say it's in his top 5 projects.
Trey Day
Ready
Just Gotta Make It
Tremaine
Chapter V

Don't really care for any other projects outside of Anticipation 1 & 2.

Ready
Passion Pain Pleasure
Chapter V
Just Gotta Make It
Trey Day

For me...

Yeah this was pretty good compared to some of his recent stuff. Its kind of a cliche song but I really liked the sound of Animal.

I been listening to Gotta Make It crazy the last few days. Might check this out.

I still haven't found the words for Trey's fall off musically while still becoming a bigger star.

Forgot I made this thread lmao

This album is fire. The irony  I played his singles so much when they dropped.

I think he abandoned his true style (wholesome, feel-good music) to cash out for what the industry wanted him to be, an ove-sexualized womanizing ladies man. Sex sells, so he got more raunchy features and popularity but his music and albums suffered.

"Cheat On You" is always on in my house. Probably my favorite Trey song.
