NIKE AIR MAG 2015

Old pic from the 2011 release, from Sole Collector magazine I believe.
 
Dont be fooled with whatever Mag related photo that are floating around. Most likely just 2011 rehash. Remember the hype and coverage the Mags got leading up to the release? So many photos were taken it is hard to remember it all and could be reposted now that memories are fuzzy.

I really do wanna know where he said "Nike Mag will release in 2015." No one has delivered squat for me yet.

Nobody is going to deliver because it was never said. Power lace SHOE was it, you are right. All we are going to see are 2011 pics as well, no matter how many trolls post them with Oct 21 in their caption.
 
He was talking about the difficulty designing a shoe for 2015 in the 80s.. He had to predict fashion and technology for 30 years in the future, which begs the question "will we see power laces in 2015? - to that I say yes"

I will post this again. An excerpt from his original interview regarding the 2011 Mag, and if we'd see a regular release in the future



I'm not sure how it could be any clearer that a power lacing Mag is not happening.

The 2nd half of that statement, however, perfectly sums up what has been alluded to in here already. The power lacing idea is something that has inspired other futuristic designs for Nike and Tinker DOES say that it would have an effect on OTHER shoes they design down the road. Couple that with the ambiguous statement regarding power laces, and he pretty much is saying it will be on a different shoe...

The link is not working. But from your wording it seems if that is a quote from the article, NOT Tinker himself. Tinker has never been directly quoted as saying power lacing would be on a Mag. Anything of that nature is pure interpretation.

EDIT: Googled the Agenda Emerge show and nowhere can I find a direct quote from him stating that the Mag specifically is being developed/released. Only that there were still "11 and two thirds months left in 2015." Now unless I'm missing a direct quote, or a video of the interview itself he's being his usual ambiguous self and not confirming anything.

I do find it funny though that when he DOES say something concrete, such as the article I posted above regarding not releasing the shoe again, nobody buys it and ignores it. Take a bit of hope and speculation and people take it for pure truth...WTF?

And...just for kicks...even if it was going to happen...he gives the time frame for the REST of the year... up to December 2015 (11+ months from Jan) so most likely we could rule out the Oct 21 date.

The article I'm speaking of is the 4th link down.The article was written for sole collector.In the article the author quotes tinker.My bad about the link never had that happen before.

Yeah, you cant go off these blogs man. They infer, interpret, and report it in a way to generate more clicks.


But nah, Im not fooloed by anything. You are not getting why I started asking in the 1st place. Homie came in here and said, "Tinker said ...." but Tinker didnt say that. I was getting at the point that Tinker never said Mags will release in 2015.

YES, Im HOPING they release, but I'm not reading between the lines like people and these blogs seems to be doing. THEN, other people repeating what the sneakers sites post as gospel.

I think others in here have explained it enough. We've been through this at least twice now in the last few weeks, so I wont rehash it again after this. BUT...If you come in here saying, Tinker said these will release in 2015, you'd better have some receipts to show! :lol:

I saw a YouTube video of Tinker saying "to that I say yes!" Then he said "but not many of them". I'll try to find it.

We've all seen that. It's the same as his quote about seeing power laces...but just the tech, NOT on Mags. Same as the excerpt I posted a few days ago. Talking about how the Mag inspired other futuristic shoe designs and what we'll see going forward on OTHER shoes. Don't read between the lines people, just the actual lines.
