NIKE AIR MAG 2015

Like I said that's not fair. Make it so that anyone with that kind of money can cop. Like the first time. And you're right, we are discussing sneakers. So what's the big deal if it's equal opportunity..?

Nobody forced you to cop unwearable sneakers. That was your decision.

When is the last time there was a "fair" NIKE release like this? Nobody is saying only people who have the 2011 get this release, but it would be cool to get a stress free opportunity to get them for those who were a part of the charity auctions. If you have the kind of money now that you needed to get the 2011s then it shouldn't be hard to get any release via the resell market.

When I bought mine in 2011 from the auction, they told us back then that they were coming back in 2015 with power lacing...they also told us that we'd have dibs...sorry to break the news to you guys but the 1510 of us that have these will get the first pick. Can anyone else in here that bought the first time confirm with me? It was a while ago but we all had like NIke representatives assigned to us to make sure shipping was right and everything for the same day shipping.

Yes this is true. I had emailed and asked about a 2015 release and they said they would keep me updated. Problem is I did not register my pair. I hope this does not matter. I also do not have the same ebay account when I won them. smh. I did not remember to take the MAGs into account when doing all this. I do still have the emails saved. I pray that I did not mess up anything. If you get any info on this please let me know. It would be really nice for Nike to give the people who purchased them during the auction a chance to get them.

Either you have the money to get them or not simple as that...because they will cost A LOT of money

im not saying they should get

i think when it's that much money it's not even about wether you have the money or not. it's wether you should be spending that kind of money on a pair of shoes that it is rather impractical to wear.

You can't count the change in people's pockets.

There isn't anything practical about this culture. How many shoes is practical for one person to have? How practical is it to spend the kind of money for the multiple pairs most people on this site spend? Or even having two or more of the same shoe?

So tired of hearing about "fair" and "right" in regards to this from "sneakerheads".

Like I said, you, I and everyone else who has a pair deserves first dibs. Hope you get yours, Greyman.

2015 feels forever away now. Excited for these, especially since I got outbid on nearly every auction I bid on in 2011. I had to max out at $2,500 back then.

while i do reckon auction winners should get first option, i also think there should be many more made this time for the rest of us .... commoners.

I think Nike would have to offer first dibs to those who bought them in 2011, otherwise face incredible anger from deep-pocketed customers. The release of power-laced 2015 MAGS would seriously devalue the ones that came out in 2011, so offering first dibs ensures the original supporters don't get screwed hard.

Will be very interesting to see how they handle it.

In reality, I'd like to see the thing as common as Air Force 1's.

Limited doesn't mean anything to me, in terms of wear preference. I've worn the same pair of standard black/white Vans for the last 6 days.

I think it'd be really cool to have a wearable pair of Mags, like in the movie. Who cares if everyone has them? Everyone has iProducts.

dibs my tushh.... if you were able to buy a pair of nikes for 5,000+ you can shell out another 5k + to buy a 2nd pair. Give everyone a fair shot

I think they sould make a special batch where the ones who bought in 2011 are signed or something like that becuase Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi) bought/Won like 4 pairs... and others could have more than one as well.

Also lets say bob got a pair from the auction and then sold them to jimmy. does Bob get dibs on the 2015 or Jimmy?

well unfortunately like everyone says since nike dictates price and supply limit
supply and demand will reign just like the yeezys
except that there was unnecessary exaggerated hype that created demand, which fueled the fire to the price. all these hypes will jack it up
mags would probably collect dust back in 85 if they came out
I can only imagine how many celebs will ig their pair
fake sneaker heads on this site dont understand the subjectivity of this activity. they only see the object that is money and use this exclusiveness as "opportunities" to settle debts or whatever instead of rocking the sneaker on feet. This sneaker scene is a hustle for hypes and "liquidators"
i bet mr. parker wont understand whats so great about the nike mag that more should be produced :smh:

I would say the original owner if he registered the pair since after the auction you receive a email with a special code you use to authenticate your pair.

Just curious how you define a fair shot though, because some would call that an auction, others would call it FCFS. I still think they have to go a route that wouldn't infuriate the original buyers.

A made-to-order system would be the greatest gift Nike could give us. Take a pre-order for a certain amount of time, yet enough time for those who would want them can place their order. It may take a while to get them, but knowing you were getting a pair would be amazing. I don't care about making my 2011s "less special" regardless they are a great keepsake for a great cause.

How would this help at all? Auction is literally the easiest way to get kicks. If you have the cash these are the easiest pair you'll ever cop. The struggle is an inverse relation with you pocket depth, of which I don't have. the limit is not my problem, the price is.
