WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Speaking Spidey, I think the best thing for them to do is take it old school, and do a solid hero villain film. It may not be as bold as what the other studios are doing, but I don't think what they're trying to do works. They just need to tell a Kraven or Mysterio story. The fact that they can't use the Kingpin sucks.

Damn these Sony execs are pathetic. I never knew ppl used e-mail this much to such an embarrassing extent. Got them looking completely exposed and it's basically burning bridges

I'm still confident :nthat:
Exactly what are you confident in though?

At this point Garfield might not be Spidey in a crossover or at Sony, and as of now there aint no crossover going down for Civil War. What are you holding on to?

What does the anniversary poster tell you now?

Kraven would have been perfect for ASM 2. :smh: They dropped the ball on that

ehh i was gonna be all in depth but i said **** it, threw up the first stuff i could find right quick and called it a day

Certainly, the fact that a deal with Marvel may be on the table might be an indication of this on its own, but emails obtained by O Vértice imply that Sony executives aren't quite sure how viable a property "Spider-Man" can be without the aid of the greater Marvel Universe. A conversation (published on the site translated from English to Portugese) between Jeff Robinov and Amy Pascal discusses possibly bringing on Stan Lee to invent a new character for Sony to exploit. Furthermore, the conversation implies that unless Sony decides to partner with Marvel, they're running out of options.

DESPERATE!

lamekilla must work for Sony on the low. Bring in Stan Lee? To create an entirely new character(s) for them? Like that isn't gonna cost them hundreds of millions anyway?

Even Sony executives are ignorant don't understand what Stan Lee is?

The assumption that large corporations are run by people who are smarter or better than you is being dispelled with each passing gigabyte of leaked info.

He would have been a perfect follow up to ASM. I mean a giant lizard was running around NYC, why wouldn't he appear?
I ain't eem think of that. It's Sony's fault though. They don't know what direction to go in. First film was them getting there Dark Knight/Batman Begins on. Second film was them riding off the Avenger shared universe model. If they'd let Webb make his movie, I'd think we would've gotten something better.

Hey... they are doing their best to run these companies

into the ground

I thought that they were at least smart and professional.

They truly make it seem like the same ppl posting in these threads could do their jobs.

Just the idea that they would ask an 80 year old man to create characters...it's just crazy.

It would be the equivalent of asking Vince Lombardi to draw up some plays for a spread offence.

Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane can still make hits right? Hov will never see what's coming.

HEY Y'ALL THERE IS A THREAD FOR THIS NOW
I wanna reserve the right to still post Sony Spidey related stuff in here to get laughs for lamekilla since son was and is so confident things are going down the way he said they would  :nerd:

Like just from a common sense stand point I don't even know why Marvel would ever want to contact Sony again  Just so all this can be online the next day.
