It will not prepare you for the series You'll come off reading Waid's run feeling hopeful and I think you're gonna be on edge watching the series compared to that.

Just wishful thinking. He'd fit in the type of world Daredevil is going to showcase. For Phase II of this Netflix deal, only person I could see forsure getting a show is Punsisher. Followed by maybe Blade and Ghost Rider.

One character is relatively known outside comic book circles and had a major hand saving the MAIN character in one of Marvels acclaimed series and upcoming 2016 film... and the other character has had a resurgence in comics but is more so a parody of another rich superhero vigilante. Let's get punisher some redemption or instead of a defenders film we get a "Daredevil's unnamed superhero team" series or a "Big shot" mini series. I want the gritty Hell's Kitchen. Once you throw Jessica Jones and Luke Cage's relationship into the mix or K'un L'un into the mix, things get soft and whimsical. Jessica, Luke and Danny should have just a hero for hire series then you have your street level heroes and then your Marvel knight heroes....

I hope they do Danny right and give him Misty Knight Sanaa Lathan is perfect
