WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

And what about the "infamous" pic that came around the same time that I recently posted with Inferno, Angela, and Deathlok.

Also we still dont have Nova in the MCU and I am pretty sure that Nova is Sam Alexander.

Sam Alexander confirmed? :nerd:

Could be RR cant tell.

It's Richard Rider.

And let me be the first to say Nova will be in Guardians 2.......
:smh:

Now we straight up contradicting the director.

If the kid in the Nova suit is suddenly RR then you know something the creators, producers, writers, directors, editors, etc. don't know. Which we all know isn't the case but hey man it wouldn't be the first time you were wrong.

Does anyone feel like Feige will make sure that Gunn's source material for GotG 2 will be from an actual storyline, rather than his original story?

I guess changing who Quill's father is fine...But what's wrong with J'son?

Probably not since none of the Marvel movies except for the Iron Man and Cap origins were actually based on a story line to a degree.

Everything else were loose adaptions of story lines. Just about every time ppl try to explain what comics the other movies are based on it always sounds like it's a little of everything.

If anything since Gunn's GotG was even a looser adaption of source material he might have more free reign within reason of the overall plans.

Nothing was wrong with J'son but that was cuz before he wasn't that explored in comics. I don't really care for what Bendis has done with him and that may skew my opinion but I don't mind a little mystery to Quill's heritage in the movies.

I feel in the end Feige will just liberate GotG from Gunn when they do IW and probably give Gunn another property he's expressed interest in.

I understand loosely adapting things but just straight up changing the father..

That's probably taking too much liberty

The reason why it's not is cuz the Star-Lord series that established that was/is obscure as ****.

The resurrection of GotG by writers DnA that formed the team we know today in the movies did not do anything with Quill's father in any of their stories.

The whole J'son thing even being widely known is a very recent for the movies Bendis thing. If you were to compare the J'son from the early Star-Lord series to this one they're not really the same person anyway.

To me J'son not being Quill's father is taking just as much liberty as Ultron not being created by Pym especially when Pym does exist in the MCU in some form where as we don't even know if J'son does in the MCU.
