WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

So linkin Vision to the soul gem, puts him out of infinity wars....no?...is kind of cool to incorporate that gem in his creation but sad too that we know that gem ends up in the Gauntlet...

took them years to confirm Loki's staff as a gem (they used it in the IW sizzle reel/teaser, it's a gem)

Figure they gotta start throwing them in the films somehow and now it the perfect time.

*sigh*.... RVD is right, unfortunately...

I hate they're taking this route with vision but not only would it allow for viewers to except one more new character in this film it also automatically makes Vision integral to the MCU's overall endgame which is infinity wars. I personally wish they would've allowed for the gems to just be in the background and have the viewers (or fans who actually would notice) little Easter eggs hear and there with the gems instead of marvel forcing it down our throats because frankly, that's how Guardians was ruined...but I believe marvel wants the audience familiarity with the "stones" across the board so when thanos is omnipotent the viewers understand why and what threat the Marvel universe is really in. We go from the gauntlet with all it's gem in an Easter egg scene in Thor, to Loki using his sceptor to touch Iron Man's chest but being the "mind" gem, to the cosmic cube being the space gem....THE COSMIC CUBE!...to now the soul gem being on vision's forehead. No solar jewel, no Adam warlock (yet....) no wonder man.

Marvel is gambling and are still running the table....

For anyone who has been following AOS

Are we to assume that anyone who had powers in that show in S1 to be inhuman?

Scorch, Carl Creel, dude who was haunting ole girl in that one episode, and anyone else on the index.

When did they confirm it was a gem? And why is it blue when there was only one blue gem Guardians of the Galaxy

That just seems like a collage of **** thats happened so far made by some guy over at marketing (as many trailers are). Yeah fury says "every once in a while we find something that belongs to both"

In Avengers 1 when they had to close the portal they said that the Tesseract cant defend itself against itself. I think those were the exact words but they more or less said that the Sceptre and the Tesseract were one in the same.

And these are two stills from the Guardians scene explaining the Infinity Stones.

That just seems like a weak confirmation to me.

Ordered IMAX 3D tix for Thursday at 7 with assigned seating. Don't feel like waiting in line for 2 hours.

 @ yall already deciding and confirming to each other that Vision has an infinity gem cuz it must mean something.

Man :smh:

To be honest I think they've backed themselves into a weird situation by intentionally being so vague about the Gems.. I feel like it's gonna be explicitly stated whether it's some kind of Gem or not in AoU

It's already pretty dumb that the scepter was powered by the Space gem but giving him pretty much all the powers of the Mind Gem

They're still four years away from the Infinity War movies. Plenty of time to get specific about the gems.

Man, I feel for AoU I should book at a really nice theater or something - like one of those places with leather, upholstered, reclining seats and plenty of aisle room. I don't really know of one in my area.

This. If its the mind gem they got some explaining to do. If the mind gem is something completely different, they have to somehow differentiate the mind gem from the sceptre.

So, when to do you guys think Thanos begin to quest for the infinity stones?

He's already began the quest. That was the first thing he did when he sent loki after the Tesseract.

Then he sent Ronan to get the Orb.

The collector might be working for him but he might not.

How are getting that the Scepter was the space gem?

I already said it. When Black Widow had to close the portal in the sky at the end of Avengers, the scientist explained that the Tesseract cant be stopped, except if you use the Sceptre, because the tesseract cant be defended against itself.
