WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I forget how many eps but I'd assume if it's 12 eps then it's 12 weeks before AOU so as not to expect a crossover. Possibly the earlier eps may be set before the alien invasion/attack on NYC.

Massive troll move imo  PS job pic when you still technically have a job @ Marvel.

I don't think Marvel gave dude the okay on this. Inhuman is like 4 years away. So aint gonna be any announcements unless Inhumans will be showing up in these earlier movies.

He did have talks with Marvel regarding another character, so I don't see how it's trolling.

Inhuman movie isn't coming out for years.

Marvel isn't going to announce that any time soon (unless like what I said is going to happen)

Crappy ps pic

This really isn't any different that when he posted those fan pics of him as Vision

To me this just seems to be keeping his buzz going than anything else. Trolling

Dude got in trouble for saying "I think Marvel thinks I'm Inhuman" not too long ago and took the post down. Now he at it again

I wonder who's gonna be the threat when the Defenders come together.
Probably some huge organized crime plot with super powered villains peppered in from being henchmen (Hammerhead, Shocker) to bosses (Crime Master, The Owl, etc.)

I wonder who will be the threat for each of the shows besides Daredevil
For DD it's Kingpin. He's already been cast but they can also hint at the Owl.

For Jessica Jones the main threat would be the Purple Man but going off the description of her show and her comic she'll probably be facing different type of Marvel based threats each ep with each case.

For Luke Cage, Gideon Mace? Magnum? The Hood? They might just give Luke somebody else's villains. Could go up against Silvermain and the Maggia, etc.

For Iron Fist for things to tie in they could just make it the Steel Serpent, Davos, from K'un L'un and he brings his ninjas too NYC or to simplify it a bit he could face Mr. Negative instead.

That makes a lot of sense. Wouldn't Hammerhead be in Spiderman's universe though?

Just made me think that Spidey won't be facing the Kingpin anytime soon. Some of my favorite Spidey stories involve the Kingpin

Naturally yes, I'd think he would but I'm not sure if Marvel has the right to Silvermain. If they do, hard not to have Hammerhead as part of that package since he's been working for Silvermain and the Maggia for most of his career. We shall see though.

There's other super powered henchmen and criminals out there. I just mentioned some of the most well known not htinking baout studio rights

Hammerhead first appearence was in spiderman so i assume that is a no go.

never mind the fact that the character is ridiculous and would be difficult to translate to film.

plus the netflix shows are supposed to be darker more street level so I assume that means sillier super powered stuff wont work.

Nah Darker don't mean that wouldn't work. I mean Luke Cage has unbreakable skin and yells "Sweet Christmas" and lets not talk about Matt Murdock's fantastical self. I believe they can still do the Super Villain stuff and be dark

I mean if he's just a Inhuman, cool but Riddick actually being Black Bolt nah.

So was the Kingpin yet Marvel can use him for the DD netflix series. All it really takes is Sony giving up those rights/letting the rights revert like they did with the Punisher who also first appeared in a Spidey comic.

Hell the Inhumans first debuted in F4 and solely only showed up in that book. It was only until Kirby's Inhuman book in the mid 70s I think that they got their own book and after that they went right back to mostly showing up in F4 books. Took a few more years until Crystal became an Avenger while before that Medusa had already been a fill-in for the F4.

There are contractual stipulations and deals for every single one of these IPs. It's the whole reason why we got two versions of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in the movies and why there's about to be a Inhuman movie.

Eh, instead of making his head/forehead/skull a flat surface made of some near indestructible chrome just give him a similar power to Luke Cage but only in his cranium. It's honestly not much of a super power anyway, it's basically the early version explanation of Wolverine's adamantium skeleton origin but not in the whole body.

Problem solved.

If they want they don't even have to give him that advantage yet. They can just introduce the man as a criminal high in the ranks of the Maggia. Hammerhead could just be his nickname the same way other wise guys have colorful nicknames in the mob. Plus it pretty much is the case since nobody knows his real name anyway.

As for dark, it doesn't get darker than a Russian hitman working for an Italian based crime organization that can kill you with a headbutt, mind you Hammerhead was doing dirt before he had that surgery/implant, something that many ppl have in the real world (steel plates in their heads, only difference is the majority of his skull is replaced with an alloy).

Furthermore, just cuz any character is "silly" in the comics or perceived as silly doesn't mean any other medium couldn't take that character and revamp them to fit the dark tone they want to establish.
I mean if he's just a Inhuman, cool but Riddick actually being Black Bolt nah.

 Yeah I took it too far but just think that could be the case just pre-terrigenesis  :nerd:
