WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

important?

I mean spider man is not a traditional member of the avengers, generally he's off in his own stuff.

I think the avengers would be fine without him, they already have too many characters.

He's around them a lot. Traditional or not, I'd favor Spiderman getting in the action with them as it's more correspondent to how he's brought on in the comics. He does his thing, yes, but he also makes frequent appearances in Avenger comics. Having him in their feels like it would be more true to the comic, especially considering that he was INVOLVED in the Civil War arch

Thor 3 will now release a week after Justice League

Marvel really playing school yard bully now lol

Black Panther is now in between IW 1 and 2 now

this really messes up the Phases lol

is inhumans now the first phase 4 film?

It'll just be the end of Phase 3 the way Ant-Man is the end of Phase 2.

To be fair if Marvel was playing school yard bully they would need a stronger franchise than thor to go up against JL. Thor is their weakest currently running franchise.

I wish it stayed the same the idea of black bolt teaming up with them to fight Thanos makes sense

Might as well call this the lamekilla thread now.

I ain't mad though.

Very happy. It says Sony retains final creative control? I'm a little weary about that, and also weary of the fact that they're pushing everything back. I liked the schedule as is.

As long as they can both make it work it's all good!!

I see we already got some negative nancies regarding this spectacularly, amazing news. It makes sense to push the films back. They were already a long wait, waiting a little longer isn't going to hurt. You don't get Spiderman back only to shelve him. Also, I don't see the plot of any of these movies being affected by his inclusion. He'll just be....included.

http://marvel.com/news/movies/24065/marvel_studios_schedules_new_release_dates_for_4_films

SPIDER-MAN 7/28/17

THOR 3 11/3/17

BLACK PANTHER 7/6/18

CAPTAIN MARVEL 11/2/18

INHUMANS 7/12/19

everything's pushed back

Inhumans is after IW2 now :nerd:

I guess it makes financial sense to push back everything for spidey. Wouldnt it make more sense to push back everything including IW to keep the same sequence? This just feels like it throws off everything
It would but I do understand why they aren't doing it. Don't wanna give up them May dates

no Avi Arad mention though so I'm happy..

Marvel will still call the shots, they'll probably just have little notes about set pieces but i feel like Sony's not gonna be too particular about the story

I feel like after AoU Avengers will be at a point where no matter when it releases it will destroy anything that gets near it. Had they moved those two movies as well Tomorrows movie headlines would be how everyone has moved THEIR release date because they dont wanna be within earshot of an Avengers movie.
