I keep googling Spiderman to see if there's any news on that front and all that keeps popping up is that Gwen Stacy might return for movie 3 as a clone.

Dear god, Sony if that's where you're going, just give the damn character up!

Lol

Just never been one for posting on forums. But I love this site so I might as well start participating. Never thought I would begin in a Marvel movie thread, though.

Anyway, whoever they pick for Danvers I'm sure will do a great job.

It's official. I can't take your opinion on women seriously at all:smh:
So 1st the comic guys don't know anything about what's going on with the movies but now cuz a writer teases something you getting hype.

Watch it be about the comic he writes.

 fam Margot Robbie's face is shaped weird, even @RobinVanDamn made the same comment So I'm not the only one who notices.

You were the one mentioning that the comic guys like Axel Alonso and Quesada run everything and draw what they want and I told you that they answer to higher ups. Since the comic guys run everything, why hasn't Dan Slott revealed what ever the spiderman news is? Who's got him speaking in code? Higher ups huh? Oh...

Lame, this thread would just not be the same without you.

You're seriously suggesting we mimic DC's casting choices?

 why thank you E everysingletime through all my bickering of fictitious characters in spandex, I try to make contribute to the entertainment in this thread along with many others, yourself included.

But no way I'm saying Marvel should follow what DC is doing with their movie verse because Marvel is leaps and bounds ahead of what DC is doing but you have to realize that Marvel is still looking over their shoulder and peeping what DC is doing and of course DC is following what Marvel is doing. It's competition. These movie fans are fickle. They don't pledge their allegiance to a comic company like some of us comic nerds. And last I checked Superman and Batman are still the biggest superheroes on the planet. As much as I love Spiderman and Hulk and Ironman and Thor you can't deny that fact. A superman/batman has the ability to wreck the box office. No real introduction of the two needed. Marvel is still tryna get the general public to understand who Thor is :rolleyes

Son over here talking like Marvel is still in phase 1 :smh: :rolleyes

Smarten up lamella, Marvel could do a Howard the Duck movie and it'd make money. Squirrel Girl could get a solo and it'll make half a billion. Marvel printing their own money at this point.

Son just got bad taste all around.

Them SONY movies poisoned his mind.

He really over hear talking about how popular WW is like that got a damn thing to do with Marvel. Son still in denial about how much money GotG is making and what Cap2 just did to think Marvel has to copy DC in any shape or form.

If this Spidey news doesn't fall through soon watch him start being salty towards the Inhuman movie too.

Stop being so naive Zik. Marvel has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid and I'm a huge advocate of everything they've been doing to bring my childhood heroes and villains to the big screen but all they can fall off a top the movie world, especially with over saturation. Don't worry about the spiderman new because it will all pan out. What is the marvel universe without its star player? And I never hated on cap 2's success. I just merely stated that audiences overrated the film, nonetheless it's still THE BEST phase 2 film and a top 3 Marvel film. Guardians on the other hand was....well I won't get into that again. It made money for Marvel, and that I'm extremely happy about.

And why would I wait until spiderman news doesn't "fall through" to be salty about inhumans. I've been on record numerous times in this thread advocating my dislike for anything inhumans. The inhumans are lame AF to be honest....

...but now that an inhumans and Captain Marvel film have been announced, let's discuss this pic some more, shall we Zik >D :nthat:

He's my favorite on here

:wow: thank you blotters

I should clarify. With the Russo brothers waiting in the wings, I don't think Marvel is going to want to meet Whedon's asking price

. The same studio that doesn't have a problem paying RDJ $50 mil for one movie would be too cheap to keep one of the masterminds behind the mcu? Doubt it.

I think the Russo rumors of directing A3 was when everyone assumed Civil War was going to continue to A3 and Thanos was on A4 or even A5.

Russo did well with the political/spy Cap2 film and they'd probably do great in Cap3 too with a similar theme but when it comes to a bigger team and more fantastical theme, I think Whedon is the guy to do it. I'd probably rather Gunn do IW than the Russos.

I'm saying, they put their make or break moment in this man's hands and he flourished. He'll be compensated whatever.

Mark has a point. Whatever they would pay him would be pale in comparison to the 1.5B+ each movie will make. I am more concerned about him not wanting to come back than them not paying him enough.
