I am saying BP will make AT LEAST 370. I dont have the confidence in a black lead superhero movie making at least 450, unless the lead is Will Smith. To make 600+ it needs good word of mouth (or RDJ). I don't think marvel is at the point where we are guaranteed a good movie. I doubt IM 3 would've made much more than 450 worldwide if it wasnt for downey. I doubt Guardians would have made much more than 450 worldwide if it wasnt so good.

I think 1 of those 9 movies will suck and the most likely candidates are Inhumans, BP, Dr. Strange. Off course we dont have any info on these movies im just basing this off what I know from the comics. Those 3 franchises are hard to write for.

The fun thing about that Dance off is Batista was a legit b-boy lol he could of killed it had he wanted to

guess that wouldn't of be in character tho :smh:
 
I would have to think 370 worldwide is a worst case scenario for any future Marvel movie. A marvel movie hasn't gone that low since The First Avenger.

Every phase 2 movie has topped 600.

I don't think any future movie has any shot of doing Incredible Hulk numbers. 263 worldwide jeez. No wonder they haven't green lit another Hulk solo.

Captain Marvel has a shot at doing well especially since it's opening 2 months after Infinity War part 1, it will enjoy the post Avengers boost

Domestically, I think Black Panther at the very least will make 300 mil.

Personally, I think BP is going to be a smashing hit and make way more than that and shut all the doubters and naysayers up. These posts I'm seeing makes me think some of yall posting like it's still phase 1 2006. Hell some of yall talking like it's 2002.

i believe in BP as well. Too many things going on for it and Marvel is ver very smart or Feige to Save BP and Captain Marvel (both being a female and black lead) until Phase 3.

Marvel releasing all there well known heroes already.
Showing success with each film
Showing that combing multiple powerhouses in one film work.
Knowing that these films come out in the future and build hype/momentum
BP being in Civil War and CM coming after A3.
 
Wonder if BP will be wearing his mask or will they get rid of it like Thor's helmet
 
is this day and age the way these CBM are going i think BP is going to do very well. hes going to be involved in civil war heavily and i still believe well see him make a cameo in Ultron, so hype will be there by the time his solo movie comes out. i think the masses will be out to see the MCU first black lead superhero. 8)
 
Marvel is playing with unlimited stack of chips right now, really can't see anything flopping from them box-office-wise.

They just can't lose at this point and it is all on them whether they shoot their own foot or not and that shoe is bulletproof at the moment.

That was awesome! Being an actor must be so much fun...get paid millions to act like kids, love it...when Yondu walked off set I lost it...the rocket/Groot bloopers were pretty adorable, movie was marvel's top 3 for sure
 
When I am done with the Chartered Financial Analyst exam I have been thinking of taking my talents to movie financing. srs. Even tho I wont be were all the fun is the industry itself looks fun if you have the luck to break in.

But I know if I had the talent to be a hollywood actor combat/weapons training would be my favorite part of the job, even tho I hate eating healthy.


EDIT: Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-Ray has dropped to $20 on Amazon. Also they need to release the Cammi/Pit Boss scene they mentioned a while back.
