The site also have some details on Luke Cage, revealing that he will first appear in six or seven episodes of Jessica Jones before being given his own series (it sounds like Iron Fist might come second after Daredevil). Two named mentioned as being under consideration are Lance Gross (Crisis) and Mike Colter (The Following).

Cage will reportedly appear in seven of the 13 episodes in the “Jessica Jones” series before going on to appear in his own 13-episode series.

“Dexter” and Twilight scribe Melissa Rosenberg is set to executive produce the “Jessica Jones” series, which focuses on retired superhero Jessica Jones hanging up her tights and opening her own detective agency. Rosenberg is no stranger to female superhero shows either, having worked on the short-lived “Birds of Prey” series on The WB.

“Jessica Jones” is the second of five Netflix shows Marvel will roll out starting next year with “Marvel’s Daredevil.” Following the two will be both “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist,” with all four leading into a “Defenders” mini-series.

Krysten Ritter? Well that is not what I was expecting. Jessica Degouw is Huntress tho, so her contract must be up.

These have to be false rumors. Unless CM is debuting in an earlier movie I doubt they are looking 3 years ahead of when they would start filming.

Looks like they are casting a little younger than Charlize Theron and Elizabeth Banks so just give it to Emily Blunt like everyone wants.

My curiosity about who is going to get cast is getting wilder by the day.

The internet has tossed about twenty or more different names for the role, maybe more, and I got to say, a lot of the names being thrown around are good choices.

I hope we don't have to wait so long to find out who they want.

Given all these names being tossed about, I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel surprises us with a left field choice that NO ONE has thought about, and she ends up killing it

Out of the three names mentioned I think I like her the most. Cuz it means we could get something seriously different for a superhero movie. Then huntress chick is second best just cuz i'd smash and I dont know who the third girl is.

Hope whoever they choose gets jacked. Like a Katee Sackhoff build but maybe smaller.
