WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Was listening to a pod about the summer movies and still kind of crazy we aren't getting any Marvel movies either this month or next when April/May have been big release months for them in the past. I know the strike obviously delayed things but still. Was just looking and it appears 2020 was the last year (for obvious reasons) they didn't have a release in April/May since Iron Man 2 in 10'.
Uhh… Deadpool and Wolverine doesn’t release this year??

Well not til July. Outside of 2020 and 21' they have released a movie in April or May every year since 2010. They generally use late spring to set the tone but Thunderbolts is currently slated for May 25'. Even Iron released in May of 2008. So they've only missed 3 April/Mays in 15 years.

Disney is doing this on purpose to reset everything, the last movies havent performed well, so they are doing a soft-reboot of their releases, instead of focusing on 2nd rate characters, the focus is on the main stars from now on. If they could, im sure they would like to do away with Captain America 4 and Thunderbolts, but heyre too deep into filming, contracts, etc...

They are banking on DP x Wolverine to shoot Disney/Marvel back to the top, which it probably will, then go from there. Basically everything after Endgame except for the Spider-Man films will be an after thought once DP/Wolvie comes out. Thats what they want.

I just looked him up and sounds pretty serious as a villain. I definitely can see him using Magneto as a puppet to use against the X-Men.
How is it a spoiler? Joint open to everyone on Disney plus. Plus what’s the rules. We can’t talk about it in 24hrs or some nut ****. Explain the Marvel Fax. If you don’t have Disney + and have to wait on some 3rd part site. That’s on you bro.

Nah. We all know when the new episodes drop. It’s a show, not a movie. Why even come in here knowing we’ll be talking about the latest episode? #gowatch

I'd agree if this was the X-Men '97 thread but it's not. It's a thread for Marvel. Everyone can't watch at the same time. Be considerate, sheesh.

Just had to rewatch again

Wait.. my dude didn’t only quote MLK, he quoted Mr Rodgers tooo

And then “begging for your tolerance was our first mistake”

AND THEN “I dare not waste any more of your tolerance”

If it were a movie, I’d agree that a weekend of spoiler tabs should be the norm because it’s a theatrical release - which it has been in here.

You say be considerate, I say be mindful. If I didn’t want to be spoiled, I wouldn’t come to the thread until I’ve seen it, especially not the day of the new episode. This thread is easily avoidable. There’s not much on the Marvel end outside of this and Deadpool/Wolverine, so you kinda know what you’re stepping into on a Wednesday.

Courtesy vs Accountability. Just my opinion. We can agree to disagree.

TBH, I was always confused how and why Emma Frost became the leader of the X-Men.

After her 2 scenes in X-Men 97, I applaud it.

The team can only be as fab as their leader.

This season hasn't missed so far, I'm digging the mutants, more specifically, the X-Men not giving af anymore. Only so much they can take.
