WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I'm still curious to see how they plan on fitting everyone in this film.

Please have a well-written story. My hope is that this film will be better than AoU.

it'll work because it will all evolve around Spidey now, everyone else is just gon' be a cameo. They about to change the title to Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends: Civil War Somewhere Out There.

I can imagine a scene where Peter is watching either the Stark Industries scholarship award being revealed or a news report on Stark and Rogers fighting

Will be

Spiderman looking more and more likely to be the "it" character as opposed to a mere cameo. I still don't think it'll be to the depth that it was in the comics but I can see the film being told through his eyes toward the end just to give the viewer a neutral side amongst the chaos

Lets kinda keep in mind it's the Russo bros. directing this along with the writing team that gave us the last 2 Cap movies, Dark World, and Narnia among a few other films.

Lets not go too hard with the stories made up in your imaginations.

Seriously. Enough with the terrible fanfiction

Didn't think what I said was "fanfiction" nor out of the realm of possibility. Zik said the movie was being directed by the Russo brothers as if they put up the budget for this film. This is a Disney film and they are going to squeeze the hell out of the merchandising for this film and you better believe spiderman will have a large hand in that and the movie as well

Wasn't talking about you; was talking about the ridiculously specific and thought out Peter Parker scenes being posted

My point is after watching Cap 2 again last week I am supremely confident in the Russo brothers and their ability to handle the MCU and its characters with tact and class.

They know subtlety and if dudes are expecting the LOOK KIDS IT'S SPIDER-MAN!!! MARVEL HAS THE SPIDER-MAN MOVIE RIGHTS type of scenes I'm seeing posted, they're gonna be disappointed

I wasn't even referring to just your post.

Several of yall on this pg and since the Spidey announcement have been going in with what you're imagining with how some of the first Spidey in the MCU stuff will go. There's been enough to make a short film on it's own so far

I said this is being directed by the Russo bros. to remind yall of their directing style. Go and watch The Winter Soldier again. I brought up the writers too so you guys could at least get close to some of the made up stuff yall are posting.

Had nothing to do with the Russo bros putting up the budget for the movie or merch or if Spidey will have a large role or not in the movie.

Just chill.

I know you are joking and that this shouldn't be taken seriously, but maybe this should happen, bro

Cameos and fighting. That's how they'll fit. Not everyone need development. Sometimes characters just need to be there to help the story.

Pretty much. Give them one or two solid scenes and those in turn can get fans hyped for the next films down the line.

I can tell yall now despite being the main character just like TWS, Cap will just be a vehicle for this ensemble flick. That's the recipe for success. He'll disagree with Stark, have his mushy moment with Bucky, say some leader type things, get made fun of, get washed, have a defiant scene with whoever ends up the villain, and some good fights (the Russo's really improved on the fights, not DD great, but way better than what we've seen in other MCU movies).

I remember that fake Spider-Man post credits scene that got "leaked" before AoU. That **** was awful and corny. I'm glad the average fan isn't writing these movies

I know BP was supposed to be in the Spidey role before Marvel was able to use him but after they did, did anyone really think he wouldn't be a big factor in this movie? It's not like it was a mere re-acquisition of some obscure b-list character, it's f'n Spider-Man's homecoming in the MCU. It's gonna be a big deal

I mean honestly, he is Marvel's biggest character

I'm just waiting on them to change it from 'Captain America 3:Civil War' to 'Spiderman: Civil War'

I can picture all the reviewers saying "this was more like Spider-Man: Civil War"

But we'll see. RDJ signed hefty deal to be in this movie so he's getting screen time. Lots of moving pieces in this film and it seems like this movie will do more for the marvel universe than any other marvel movie. Black Panther AND Spiderman being introduced. Not to mention Baron Zemo and maybe another hulk

As much as I want to see Spidey in the film. I have a feeling all the extra shoots with Holland will still keep his cameo to a minimum. I really want to see BP get a lot of screen time, simply because I don't know much about him and he's character I'm really interested in. With Spidey, I simply want to geek out and see him interact with the Avengers.

Yeah. This movie only needs Spider-Man, no need to worry about Peter Parker's story. I think Marvel knows the casual fan should already have an idea as to what Pete's story is. They could worry about that for his stand-alone if they want to explore that more.

So so far, is this movie taking place in Atlanta/Wakanda and NYC? Any other locations mentioned?
