WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Not really; Africa and Wakanda were both already established literally minutes earlier by Klaw, his "thief" brand and his Vibranium stash

Tony's hulbuster armor will likely not appear again

Hulk is not a major player in the Civil War nor has his character been at all speculated to appear in the movie
He doesn't have to be. The destruction he caused is going to be the reason legislation is brought up.

I thought it came out of nowhere and was just tacked on specifically to make him seem important, along with that talk about the team being gods (Which had a hole in logic partially as Black Widow doesn't have powers either) and needing him and all that. Basically like you said it was to give his fans something to watch since he didn't have as large a role in the last film, and of course doesn't have his own movie and solo series to build off of.

LOL they did EVERYTHING in the world to imply he was going to be killed off and then had it be Pietro. I actually liked that.

You sure she has no powers tho?

Son im watching X-Men first class right now and it just makes me SO upset that Hollywood is so caught up with rivalry and legal rights nonsense that all these brilliant marvel stories which are clearly meant to coincide are split up. Imagine how things would have been if Disney just bought Marvel studios out right from day 1 and threw billions into a TRUE MCU Avengers x X-men x F4 x Spidey universe. Or even from day one if they did what sony and Disney finally did and said hey lets squash all this and make some $ together yall are clearly winning. Things would have been so different. I guess there's a time for everything. Just imagine 3 hour long marvel movies with 20+ characters with AVATAR  budgets

. Hopefully by the 2020's we atleast get a Marvel V.S. Capcom type of film ill be in my 30's hype as hell.

I'm cool with it. Maybe it's due to how Fox has managed them, but I just don't care for the X-men at this point. There's very little variety to their stories. I'm glad the MCU is set up the way it is.

A Capcom movie has never been done right. Can't taint Marvel's success with their inclusion haha

Came out of nowhere? Most of this stuff comes out of nowhere. If anything, him having a family adds a little something to the MCU. Before him, it just happens to be that none of these people that have showed up so far has a family. That's just weird. I'm glad they brought it up.

No it doesn't. It's all well and good to enjoy the fact that he has a family, but the fact remains that they were never hinted at or mentioned before, which was even explained within the film: Fury helped him set it up and keep it off the books, secret black ops kind of thing. Again, all well and good, I just didn't like it.
Him suddenly having a family is directly taken from the Ultimates. In book 1, you get the feeling there's some romance history with him and Black Widow (just like Avengers sort of implied) and then in book 2, it's mentioned he has a wife and that he has this family tucked away that he's with when on leave that also needs protection when SHIELD becomes compromised.

Didn't make me like Hawkeye or anything but it aint a bad idea that the movies adapted it in this case. The movie Hawkeye was lamer than the Ultimate version so I guess it was time to give him some depth.

Marvel studios didn't even exist when Disney eventually bought Marvel Entertainment and by the time Marvel Comics became Marvel Ent they had long sold the movie rights to other studios but I get what you're saying and basically making money is what is important to them not rivalries. It's more about "I want to make all of this money off of this property now that making movies about this property is extremely profitable and I'm not willing to share it with a whole other group of ppl just cuz they own some other property that could mesh well movie wise." When hundreds of millions are on the line nobody is going to see the hippie solution of there'll be enough for all of us. That's not how the corporate world works.

I see what Marvel and Sony did as a very rare thing. Possible cuz of variables like Sony being a Japanese owned conglomerate and not having a bigger influence in America in other branches, Sony really falling apart this past decade in a lot of areas, and their willingness to give back other rights; toys, cartoon, etc. For the most part, if any other American owned media conglomerate (Viacom, CBS corp, Comcast, etc.) had the Spidey rights they wouldn't give it back to Marvel or doing a no direct profit deal off of using each others movie properties. To me the better option was always something like Disney just absorbing the competition like past rumors of WB being on the market or Time Warner doing a merger.

Master Zik Master Zik Very aware of Ultimate Hawkeye's history. However, something happening in the comics isn't a setup or foreshadowing for the film.

donovandoesit donovandoesit I think a Marvel vs Capcom movie would be terrible, same with a DC vs Mortal Combat movie, or a DC vs Marvel movie. I don't even care that all Marvel Comics properties aren't even in a shared film universe at this point because I dislike the Fantastic 4 and think X Men has been just fine for a while now.

since when has mortal kombat included horror movie icons? Just noticed that recently.
I'm pretty sure MKX was the first one to do so.

I really wish Nether Realm Studios make an Injustice type of game for Marvel. Would be instacop on midnight release.

Just came back from Age of Ultron Round II and did not disappoint again. Elizabae Olsen is divine. Loki under the cloak stood out. Thor was the only one who took the quest for 6 Infinity Stones seriously LOL.

As for the Avengers theme, that is something that you can listen to on repeat for hours

Best music in Marvel imo:

And my guilty pleasure

At this point, I can't be mad at Fox or even Sony for giving back the rights, they actually deserve it for basically resserecting the super hero drama.

The early success of Spider man and X-men movies is the reason why the MCU came to be. Yea, We fans deserve all of them being under the same roof, but fox and Sony did their business properly and are reaping the benefits tremendously.

Besides, x men is starting to be decent again, let them stay with fox in their own universe. I like things how they are, if MCU had the mutants and Spidey the whole time, we wouldn't have gotten a gotg or a black panther either. I ain't mad
