What's a good spot to buy comics online? Haven't been able to get to a shop and grab these secret wars issues

If you could hold off I'd suggest just waiting and getting the compiled story in one book.

By the way, this is legit, great way to catch up on old stories and rather new books as well. Pretty good deal.

Anyone interested in this service?

PM me if interested in an account.  $10 a/year

Hiding in a hellicarrier is the best way to do it

Marvel's doing a really good job expanding their universe with these shows. And as a fan I couldn't be happier.

Wish DC would do the same down the line.

My belief with DC is that after the CONVERGENCE event, they will start to follow this pattern. I wont spoil that event but you can read online the info from this event and make a few conclusions about the TV SHows and the Movies being separate.

 @ some of yall already prejudging Ant-Man on some Wright's version would've been better tip.

Yall might not like it and it may end up sucking balls but I know it's still gonna do big #s in the box office. Might as well stop trying to front on that. I can already see the puns and play on words on newspapers and article headlines when Ant-Man crushes it.

Some of yall have IM3 as the worst MCU movie, it did a billi. A few think GotG sucked, it was amongst the top if not #1 when it came to making movie that year. Some think it's IM2 or Thor 2 or w/e else that's the worst. They all still made mad money.

The MCU at this point is a money making machine producing movies that have a rep attached that'd need a string of ****** movies to diminish.

I don't see the connection between what the Convergence comic event did and what DC might do with tv and movies that'd be on par to what Marvel is currently doing witht he Netflix quality and overall shared universe.

While I didn't read it the event, I do know what happened in the end and what it establishes and I know that on the tv/movie side Johns (or somebody else) has been saying they're establishing a DC cinematic multiverse to sort of explain why their multiple tv shows on the CW and other networks aren't even occurring in the same movie universe.

They supposedly have a 6-min IMAX trailer for Antman coming out Friday and attached to Jurassic World.

I think Marvel is anticipating this film being a sleeper. I mean this doesn't have the same mystery around it like GOTG did, also many people aren't going to take a character with the name and powers of Antman serious, so I just think they're going with the surprise angle.

My daughter was showing me pics of new ant man lego sets coming out and one of them comes with two ant man figures. One marked hank pym. Chances he wears the suit at some point in the movie?

i thought the same thing but the name of that lego set is Ant Man: Final Battle maybe he jumps in to help when Scott is receiving the hands from Yellow Jacket

there have been rumors of pym suiting up for the last battle for a while now. Either bada** digest or Latino review called it first but it's been out there for as long as I can remember

Read the event, but i'm not sure how it'd connect.

New to the whole MCU and I don't really follow the comics too much,

but I was wondering would watching the TV shows enhance the MCU experience in any way? Because I can't really seem to get into Agents of SHIELD much, but I did love Daredevil. I know Daredevil is on a much smaller scale than The Avengers and GOTG in terms of fitting into the MCU but I can't wait for the rest of the Netflix/Marvel shows to come out so that they can end up doing The Defenders crossover.

I guess my question is, are they all tied together somehow? Like later on down the road will all these MCU heroes cross paths or will Daredevil/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage stay in Hell's Kitchen and fight crime on the smaller scale

Sorry if these are stupid questions, I just feel a little lost at times

Edit

Also, I see that the Fantastic 4 is coming out soon too, but they don't fit into the MCU at this point either correct?

Keeping tabs on Coulson when watching AoS might enhance the experience a bit given the inevitable of him returning to an Avengers film. Plus there's been a good deal of cameos from the movies on the show. It's not the best show but it's something to watch in between the movies and you could end up getting in to it.

Eventually I expect most characters to cross paths. At the very least them showing up on AoS or being mentioned by SHIELD. Especially the netflix heroes by the time they become the Defenders.

No X-Men or F4 or Deadpool film or tv show are apart of the MCU in any way.

Far from stupid questions since you're new.
