WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I remember that I saw Blade Trinity first, and specificaly avoided seeing the first two because of how bad I thought it was

I'm thinking they could do something with Morbius. then eventually add in Blade................... Pipe Dreams??

I still liked Toby as Peter

but Garfield as spidey.
Morbius was supposed to be the original Blade 2 villain, but the studio got in the way. He is in Blade 1 in the alternate ending.

Didn't know that. I saw Blade 2 got bad reviews but I always liked that movie. Having to work with the Blood Pack against those new kind of vampires was cool. Blade fighting the whole team would've been awesome to see.

When I said Marvel Universe I meant in general out of movies from the company marvel, not t specifically Marvel Cinematic Universe

Yay Area where u at

Reynolds is cool but it seems like it's generally the moviemakers that screw his reputation over

Case in point GL and Wolverine Origins. Dude was not bad in either of those

Nobody forced him to take those terrible roles. Even if he signed without reading a script.

If you sign a contract without reading a script, even if the script aint made yet, then you have no one to blame but yourself.

His jokes / humor in blade 3 were so bad. I blame the writers but also him for making people think he should be characters with sarcastic jokes. Him trying to be funny in gl was cringeworthy.

Dont worry. This reboot will highlight the lack of worthwhile stories that PP actually has. But he'll fit right in with the "hey look at the overdose of halfway decent jokes in this movie" tone that the MCU goes for. So there's that.

Lack of worthwhile stories? Chile pleeh.
Son really doesn't know what he's talking about.

Case in pioint:
Spider-Man has hella adaptable stories.

Hella.

Alright. He just needs to be rebooted all the time for no good reason
He's really confusing the producers refusal to adapt different stories with lack of adaptable stories :smh:
What does hella mean?
a lot of or very

Must be some weird west coast lingo. One of my friends started saying hella, I looked at her like NY people don't talk like that.
It is and it's been around for a while. I remember when it was a thing on NT big time. Not sure why it's still being used now though

He reads the script before he decides to do the role or not.

He's screwed his rep on his own. If anything he's probably gullible and too trusting. How can one do Blade 3 (lets assume he had a contract), Origins, RIPD, GL, and other trash when he's been in actual good movies?

Lol i get in these movie watching moods where I dont want anything to make sense I just want a form of entertainment.

it was MIB all over again .. (better than MIB3 atleast)

I like Reynolds as an actor. He does a good job in most films he's playing in and seems to get the character exactly as the script is calling for. Case in point, Green Lantern. Choose the greatest actor of all time and that film would not have been significantly better than it was, because you need more than just a good actor to make a good film. The film was just all around fairly bad, but it wasn't because of Ryan Reynolds. In terms of character, he played Hal Jordan perfectly. The writing itself just wasn't up to par. Same with Hugh Jackman in X-Men Origins Wolverine. He wasn't playing the character any differently than he did previously, or as he'd play it later, yet the basic story was filled with plot holes and contradictions to the previous films, as if no one who had control over it really knew what was going on.

Also, I wanna watch Harold and Kumar now

Reynolds is likable enough guy.. And in the right movie he can do really well..

But green lantern and origins were just horrible movies.. He'd almost be better off not taking some of these movies, instead of making it easy for those folks who just want to make him a punchline

This concerns me a bit with my boy Michael b Jordan.. Not really sure he should taken the f4 role.. Studio heads are looking for any little excuse to blame certain actors for the lack of success of the films instead of being critical of the film itself..

Thought 'that awkward moment' would at least be decent.. But it was just horrible

Not many dudes are going get another shot like Chris Evans.. And while I have more faith in Reynolds succeeding as deadpool, he should be well aware of the dangers that come with dealing with studios who don't take their properties as seriously as they should

deadpool is going to win regardless imo... just off pure fan base of the character, it's going to be incredibly hard to muck it up. all he has to do is tell ajoke and kill...

And break the 4th wall by making references to various comics, video games, cartoons, or previous films.

do you think he'll stay away from making any MCU references...?
like is he allowed to...
making a joke like ".. its not like antman can really fight falcon 1 on 1

Reynolds is like Chris Evans, needs one movie role to turn him into someone to be taken seriously, I feel like this is the role that will do it.
