Well the first time was changed that it wasn't Jean but the Phoenix by itself posing as Jean. Sort of a frame up job laugh.gif

But all the murder after that is on her. She wasn't blamed cuz it wasn't really her intent unlike Scott who put himself in the situation for all that stuff to go down. Wolverine's been against Scott since he was down for child soldiers and getting kids to kill for the cause. That's what he's always been against.

She destroyed more than just one planet. Phoenix Force eats stars. It was multiple planets through all her time as the Phoenix.

No real surprise the X-Men care more about the guy that was basically their father than a bunch of aliens.

I mean in the end even Xavier was saying he was wrong.

I was fine with Scott when he was asking Logan to kill for him cuz he's like over a 100, is a weapon, etc. and doesn't mind especially in the situation for mutants but once he was telling kids to do it he was no better than any war lord enlisting children in his army. Especially given the situation where Idie didn't have to kill anybody, just wait cuz the X-Men were on their way.

IMO you just gotta look at who Scott ends up gathering for his team; megalomaniac out for mutant domination, damaged queen of a demon dimension, and a traitor.

That 75th anniversary comic btw, is it one story arc involving all those characters or just a bunch of mini arcs

It's just a big comic with individual stories about some Marvel characters. I already forget who.

Personally, if they had that kind of spending money, I would've skipped Lucasfilm and bought out Sony. Pssh Star Wars lol (hi CP)

Objectively speaking, money wise they can probably buy Sony right now, but the question is, do they want to.

Pixar has dominated the animation industry for a decade, they gambled on Marvel and Marvel is kicking *** in the comic book movie genre, and I bet they think the time is ripe to reboot star wars and make a juggernaut out of that too.

They probably see Sony struggling and thinking that they'll wait on that lol

The topping selling items at Disneyland/disney world are 1) Star Wars 2) cars (made by pixar). You can see why they wanted those companies

T4 shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as ASM2. T4 was so awful, so many moments that made no sense. Yet that film still made a billi sick.gif

Movie goers mean.gif

Wasn't that film just the longest for no ******* reason?! Oh my gosh they got off the cyberton ship and I swore the movie was over but there was still like an hour and a half left sick.gifsick.gifsick.gifsick.gif and then the Dinobots were in there just so the producers and writers could tell people to "shut up" about them. So pointless.
Yea, t didn't have to be 3 hours. I felt like whoever wrote the screenplay had ADD.

They could've focused on the collector for the creators or Megatron duping that billionaire recreating him into Galvatron, but not both lol

I'm going to ez pass on all transformers movies from now on lol

Sorry for hijacking thread. Needed to vent. Moving on.

I guess it's cuz it's part of this long series.

I mean kids love Transformers so that's like 300 mil already, then add all the kids that have grown up, that's a whole generation. Plus the first Transformers wasn't that bad.

I felt the same way you felt but about Dark of the Moon, there was just this weird super long build up sequence when they were going to war in the city. It was the longest conflict/climax I ever seen.

If you've noticed Bay's been building up to this ****. In Bad Boys 2, there's like a time limit where this would be where the story would end but nah, dudes sister gets kidnapped so we get and extra 30 min of dudes running through Cuba with an unofficial special ops team that could easily cause one of the bigger disputes since the Bay of Pigs laugh.gifmean.gif Bay is obviously on drugs with this ****.

I can't even imagine how long this one is indifferent.gifsick.gif

Bad Boys 2 is Michael Bay's greatest work. Movie was flames beginning to end
post #2176 of 33630
My favorite movie of Bay's was The Rock. After that, I've gotten more and more disenchanted with his movies.

Just a lot of action just to have action and also no sense of buildup to a climax and then an end. Lots of faux climaxes with no end to the movie in sight.

He should never ever touch a Marvel property. I would kill myself lol

If Michael Bay was to do anything with Marvel, it should be a short about Damage Control. That way he can just make random explosions.

They should've done a damage control short after The Avengers
post #2179 of 33630
GotG should pass IM in US box office and become the third highest grossing by the upcoming weekend. It should also pass Thor: TDW worldwide by the upcoming weekend making it 4th worldwide. Still three weeks until the China release too.

GotG didn't kiss up to China like transformers did by hiring their actresses and setting half their movie in China. If it could only gross 300 in China then they'd be right where they should be as the biggest movie of the yr.

So what's 1 and 2? Frozen and Transformers?
So these blockbuster films have to brown nose China in order to do well there? I don't like that, watch a movie for the right reasons.
Yea transformers 4 was the first to gross 300 in China. Would never have happened if they didn't kiss so much ***
post #2183 of 33630
That movie was so long, pointless and confusing. I dont even know why they ended up in China. It makes less sense now why optimuuuuuus gives a **** about humans.

One could say that but look at it from a global perspective; just a bunch of white ppl on the screen, in America most of the time at that. Not sure everybody is gonna be extra welcoming to the white man comes to save the day theme Hollywood uses to pander to certain demographics.

Especially in a place like China. They have their own pop stars, movie stars, etc. They're more hype to see Bing Bing than JLaw. Can't blame them.

Overall you gotta remember the type of ppl that go to movies anyway.

Plus aren't these movies dubbed? sick.gif I'm sure everybody hates dubbed movies unless they're really good and you can ignore it and get in to the story.
Yeah, good points. People like watching their own on screen. Plus Chinese cinema is really good, at least I think it is from netflixing foreign movies frequently.

They don't have too. Cap 2 did close to 100M in China. They will tho because there is a huge difference between 100M and 300M. You are about to see a lot of movies tailored to the Chinese audience over the years since China, Japan, and South Korea keep saving movie box offices.

They hoping to come up in India as well but they dont know the formula to that yet. Indian movies are typically over 3 hours and blend several genres. **** that won't fly with Americans.

EDIT: I won't watch the movie. By "kiss ***". I am assuming they mean "had non-white characters who spoke perfect english even in China" roll.gif
