WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

It feels like I've been slacking in going to the theatre this year but I've already seen 7 movies

And this one three times

Forgot about hateful 8

So that's 10 theatre trips total for around 160 dollars

4K on movies sounds like a lie

If I'm being honest.. I spend roughly 60 - 80 dollars every time I step into the theater.. I'm always paying no matter who I go with.. I spent maybe 200 on the last trip cuz I was paying for a slew of ppl including concessions.. So let's split the difference and say the average is 70

So if I make 12 theater trips it's coming out to 840..

4k man.. I just dunno

Man how many movies have you seen

So assuming you pay for a family of 4, you've seen 50 movies this yr? 0.o

Wait.. If you include concessions... Probably closer to 25 movies a yr? Hmm. Sounds plausible.

Assuming you pay for a family of 4 though

But if you've been going by yourself bro, you need help.
$4k on movies is OD

I have a wife and three sons...I live in New York, the average ticket is $15-20, plus about $50-$80 at concession.

We go to dinner and a movie every week.

Sometimes I have to go for research, so I see about 2-3 movies a week some week.

1 ticket is $100?

Am I reading that right?

Nah, basically 5 X $21.00...

My God :smh: Good on you for being a real family man though. It's good to have weekly/monthly activities like that for y'all to share together and down the line your kids will look back on those times with fondness. Good man 8)

I probably hit the theaters less than ten times a year. It's really just about what films catch my eye enough for me to want to go watch them in theaters. Every now and again I get thrown for a loop though. I fully intended on going to see Revenant, with Dicaprio, in theaters, but right before I found the entire film online in perfect HD quality. Was just no reason after that. Same with Hateful 8 in fact, though I wasn't planning on ever seeing that one in theaters. And it's starting to look like Jungle Book might end up the same way, unless I just decide to randomly take a trip.

Just caught the movie last night. Joint was amazing. I like how Tony and Steve never came to a resolution and left things open ended so we gotta wait til Infinity War pt.1 to see them join together again. Just too much **** went down for them to squash their beef within 1 movie

I think I mentioned it already but yeah, I'll cop tickets for the culture and do my part. My kids love discussing the films, themes, motifs, etc...it's good for seeing how they understand the world around them and we get to bond as a family while we do it.

That's what worth paying for.

From first hand experience, watching bootleg movies can damage your development.
Are there even enough good movies out chea that warrants going 2 to 3 times a week though?
Sometimes, as I stated it's for research and I go solo. Even if the film is trash.

If you bothered to READ, he wrote that the average ticket is $100...

You tried though.
Lol come on man. Common sense goes a long way. You knew damn well what he was trying to say. Messed up grammatically, but you still took it as he is spending 100 a ticket.....
Lol he said he lived in manhattan not Dubai...

$4 matinees are the way to go. I watch about 20-25 movies in theaters a yr. Rarely pay the premium weekend price.

Common sense plays no part in this bro. You reachin for somethin that isn't there. :smh:

I don't live in Manhattan. I've heard it's expensive there though. Which is why the $100 sounded OD, but I wasn't entirely sure, hence the "Am I reading this right?"

Everybody wanna be slick comedians though.

Speaking of stubs. I must have most of mine since like 2003. And that's a lot. I must go to theater 15-30 times a year. About 10 summer flicks and then whatever is spread out during the year.

i never keep the tickets but I have like 15 3d glasses at home

useful for when I pay for a 2d movie and double dip into a 3d movie

DC should of just built off Nolan's Batman like Marvel did Ironman, segway'd right into Nightwing

what were they thinking?

something crazy like superman flying around would not fit in the nolan batman universe

even bane was pretty much just a regular guy with above average strength
