yeah caps suit in 1st avengers was the worst part of the movie for me. this new suit looks loads better

I never liked that pic as it never looked that goofy in the film, except for the walk with Hawkeye/Black Widow. Sans helmet, I think it looked really good and wish they could've improved upon it.

With that said, this AoU is my favorite out of all the movie Cap suits tho.

this is the best cap suit to date.. without the helmet

considering hawkeye, black widow and thor don't wear mask (hell, how often has thor even worn his helmet??).. hulk doesn't really have a choice.. everyone knows who ironman is..

I don't get why cap needs a mask or helmet or whatever

they should give him something similar to Spideys mask where he can just slip it on. i guess it might look cheesy tho..

It'll still look different cuz Cap's mask isn't a full face mask. You gotta see his eyes and the bottom half of his face shows. If they give him a full face mask like Spidey's he'd look completely different

I think it just part of him being a soldier and kind of a homage to his old costumes? I mean in the end these guys are based on comic books and some logic has to be thrown out the window. It is still considered a half mask/helmet I guess instead of just a helmet.

If we really examine it though Cap is still only human though and he can suffer major trauma and he is usually in the frontline of battles. You can argue putting a helmet on Hawkeye might make him less accurate and since he is usually in a distance, he is safer than Cap. Can't really explain BW w/o a helmet, I guess she is mostly a spy anyways though you see her battle in the frontline but you can kind of see how she differs from Cap in WS, she sneaks in building and disguises herself instead of charging in battle like Cap.

Thor doesn't really need the helmet, he can take any blows to the head without a problem though he does have the coolest helmet and I'd really like to see him fight with it on.

for as much as we've seen loki in his helmet.. I'm kinda amazed thor's doesn't get thrown in there a little bit more..

Didn't someone post the reason Thor doesn't use his helmet? Maybe hemsworth not liking wearing it or it just falling off and moving on his head a lot?

If im not mistaken , Thor's helmet is only for ceremonial purposes. Like in the beginning of the first movie when was being honored by his father/king.

Nah, Thors definitely battled with his helmet on in the comics.

Hemsworth wasn't happy with how the helmet fits especially when he is in action though it wasn't his final say but the producers/director probably felt the same way the way it was falling around. If they didn't make it out of real steel so that it is light then maybe it could have worked.

“Secretly I think I was the biggest advocate for not having the helmet. Secretly between me and whoever is watching [laughs]. It’s just incredibly uncomfortable. The amount of times it would fall off and the bridge would be smashing me in the nose, or the wings of the helmet in one of the fight scenes was getting clipped off…it was something we had to, I think [pushes aside gesture] for the moment anyway.”

I don't get why people are making such a big deal that he's playing a different DC Villian...you couldn't even tell it was Tom Hardy as Bane with the mask and processed voice

Vision looks good, now just interested in how he sounds. I know he's supposed to be a creation of Ultron and Jarvis in the film but does he just sound like Jarvis?

He is being played by the guy who voices Jarvis.

Maybe Stark will add more autotune to Visions voice.
