We don't need much of Peter, we need Spidey...

Garfield's interpretation of Peter was what bombed, not really because of his acting chops, as much as the way Pete was written...completely negated Petes underdog, weak, bullied, geeky personality.

Garfield's interpretation of Spidey was dead on and that's who we need in the avengers, his physical, mannerisms and sarcastic personality but still endearing...Garfield nailed that **** and I want anyone who disagrees to tell me how Garfield bombed as Spidey.
More than one interpretation of Peter exists.

Garfield was a blend of 616 & Ultimate. Tobey was just Tobey. The Peter from like 60 years ago is outdated.

Well well, what do we have here. Of course, the inevitable. Marvel playing their trump card close to their chest with their biggest superhero appearing in their finale.

My "I told you so's" are still baking in the oven so I won't pull them out yet >D but I'm rather curious as to if marvel really has the balls to kill off Steve Rodgers. Granted if they're following source material than cap should die due to the civil war aftermath but why the **** can't spiderman be included in civil war?? I mean how are you really telling that story without him...unless Marvel has more tricks up their sleeve, which I think they do as it pertains to spiderman. If Sony is still doing ASM 3 in 2018 then we'll have Garfield as spiderman in infinity wars. If not, then by the time we do see spiderman it would've been 4 years without him on the big screen. Neither studio would let that happen especially when merchandising rights are bringing in HUGE money. Sony and Marvel are up to something epic and I personally think it'll come to fruition in Civil War, Garfield and all.

But let's take a break from spiderman for a second...Latino Review has reinvigorated the rumor of hulk being shot into outer space. Marvel doing civil war is something they know won't make any sense if they don't stay close to the source material. But Planet Hulk/WWH wasn't included in the phase 3 movie schedule...yet. Curious to know the details of Ruffalo's contract. Pretty sure he's contracted for way more than 3-4 films. He's fulfilled 2 films and A3 pt1 and pt2 are 3 and 4 years into the future after our more obscure less average movie goer friendly films such as antman, panther and Danvers the motion picture. Hulk has to have an arc in between phase 2 and 3. Especially with all the marketing for A2 showing the Hulkbuster/Hulk fight. Hulk's story is going to be interesting and I'm pretty sure that Tony Stark is the bad guy during this hulk/Hulkbuster fight and not banner. Maybe banner finds out about talks stark is having with the government about him and how he is a threat to the planet.....eh what do I know

Latino Review is also the ones who started the WWH nonsense so it makes sense that they would keep trying to make that a thing

They did but Latino review is more than credible. They were talking about Thanos being in avengers before captain America:first avenger dropped. I kept thinking to myself they were full of it until that faithful day in the theatre may 4th 2012. Damn near passed out while everyone around me was like "OMG it's Red Hulk" :rolleyes

Hulk being shot into outer space seems more than plausible considering that he has no place in civil war. I'm more concerned with the HOW they get hulk into outer space.

My money is on Tony Stark going heel and causing this to happen

...since we can't get the illuminati :frown:

Why would Starks all of a sudden view Banner as a huge threat in Avengers 2, when he was so enamored with Hulk in Avengers 1?

I bet Marvel is hoping that someone out of the new batch of hero sticks out like RDJ to help carry the team

RDJ is the old Avengers MVP

MVP of phase 3 : ......?

Benedict or whoever they cast as Carol will probably be given the 'torch'

Idk about Benedict being the MVP

I don't see it

There doesn't seem to be anyone in the new batch of Avengers that seem to have the commercial charisma RDJ has.

Chris Pratt don't count.

SONY DENIES SPIDER-MAN/"AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR" RUMOR

The idea of Sony-controlled Spider-Man appearing in Marvel Studios' upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" generated a lot of talk after Latino Review posted it as an unconfirmed rumor earlier today. But don't get too excited: When reached by CBR News, a Sony Pictures representative dismissed the report, calling it an "old rumor" with "no validity whatsoever."

All these blogs Finna give my man LameKilla a heart attack man....let my boy flourish Yall!

Tsk tsk at Sony trolling. Their poker face with spiderman joining the MCU got carved up by N. Korea but like I said my "I told you so's" are still baking in the oven. What is being overlooked is the fact that Marvel and Sony will still work together, Sony still needs money, and Marvel still wants the web slinger. This is inevitable.

And Latino review >>>>> Comic book resources

Why won't they let me cook ksteezy ksteezy :frown:

Donald Glover pls

lol I would thoroughly enjoy this but I doubt it. Would be hilarious tho if they dont show spidey in any trailer, then the takes his mask off and he is blacj

He's 34.

Nobody wants anymore high school Spidey. We want adult Spidey.
Facts

It's Benedict. He does no wrong. He's close to surpassing Leo.
Good
Surprised so much hype around benedict and not so much around hiddleston. You'd think theyd both elevate equally.
