WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Damn it, Joss - you want real tears?

Just have Marvel keep playing up Hawkeye's family - then have Thanos rip his head off in the 4th movie

Voila, tears. Tears, everywhere :smokin

I'm turning 30, don't think I've ever heard anyone say ***** hound

Voila, tears. Tears, everywehre :smokin

Is it bad that I wouldn't drop a tear ?

Also, I hope and pray that silver surfer makes an appearance some how in infinity war...

I mean, how can't he?

Need to make this right.

Don't go see Fantastic 4. Make sure everyone you don't see it then make sure no one they know see it.

The scenes with the family were a weird surprise. Linda Cardellini is very attractive but I know he's been married to Mockingbird in the comics and Adrianne Palicki is someone you want to smash with the force of the hulk every time you see her.

Disney should have listened to Joss and let him cut out the cave stuff. That whole part of Thor going off just didn't work

If Captain Marvel and Spider-Man would have been included at the end, theaters would have exploded

Also somebody needs to ask him about a possible director's cut, I want to see the 3 hour version

Having a Spiderman cameo in this would've been out of place. He or Ms Marvel didn't need to be in there.

Tony has shown nothing but contempt for the government and/or authority in ever single movie he has been in, in the marvel universe.. And especially IM2 when he was before senate hearings

Until the idea was put in cap's head in avengers, cap was lecturing tony about bucking authority.. THEN cap went snooping

And cap's issue in WS was the whole secrecy of everything.. Hell at the end of WS all the shield info is put on the net

Even after creating ultron tony defends himself chastises banner for just admitting wrong doing

Then you have cap being put in charge of the new shield/avengers at the end of this movie (which I assume is government funded now with tony moving on).. Maybe cap just wants transparency.. And you also have their fight in this when he is making vision, where cap wants him to stop messing with things he can't control or understand

I think the team already knew about that stuff since hawkeye and Cap called Quick and SW enhanced when they first saw them. The people on agents of shield know about the experiments so they might've gave the Avengers info.

I dunno if his vibranium connect was what strucker was referring to on his computers but I think that's why ultron took care of strucker.

Tony has changed since IM2 & Avengers 1. He doesn't want to be Iron Man anymore, and by creating Ultron, will clearly do whatever it takes to stop the fight they're on. With powered people coming out the woodwork, I can see him wanting to keep tabs on them, thus siding with the govt. Even if he has shown past contempt.

Cap's issue in WS had little to do with secrecy. The whole secrecy thing was him having problems with the govt creating weapons with the tesseract in Avengers 1. His main problem in WS was the isssue of Nick Fury having the ability of taking anyone out at an instant with those hellicarriers. Tony can be funding them btw.

Been hearing lots of complaints from Whedon lately, seems like since he isn't returning he is pretty much disclosing most of what he wanted done and it really is looking like AoU isn't exactly the film he wanted to make? Could all these controls by Marvel be the reason he isn't returning?

In addition to the other reports, here is what he has to say about Loki being in AoU.

"He’s so important to the mythos, and they’re like, 'We can’t get Tom. We can’t make a deal,"
Whedon said of his initial struggles to get Hiddleston into Avengers: Age of Ultron. "You can have Idris!' I was like, 'Oh, I love Idris! This is great!' And then I talked to Tom, saying, 'Just so you know, I feel bad not telling you, and I would never pressure you, but I really feel like it would be great if you could do this...' And they’re like, 'But we already have Idris!' And again, I had no problem there. Everybody’s in!" It doesn't sound like the studio were that keen on having to pay Hiddleston to reprise the role, but they gave in to Whedon in the end, and the scene sounds great!

"We even had a little reference to the fact that he’s taken the throne, which was Tom doing his Anthony Hopkins impression when Thor says, 'Oh, what would father say?' Then Tom does his Hopkins impression, and Thor’s like, 'That is uncanny!' It’s sort of like his subconscious is telling him that Loki was imitating his father. But he would never make that connection."

Whedon is probably a little crazy, which isn't that surprising. It's probably why he's so talented.

He's been all over the place lately, from his criticism of Jurassic World, his criticism about Marvel, and now he just deleted his Twitter lol.

Welps. I love you anyway, Joss :frown:

I thought it was known that was why Joss Was leaving Marvel. Dude had to deal with the pressure of telling the story/making the movie he wanted while also following orders to set up the next 4-5 movies.

Same thing pretty much happened with Jon Favreau in IM2. It's also why Edgar Wright got the boot. Wanna do something creative and original? Nah follow the formula or you're out.

Can't really blame Marvel though cause they're about billions right now.

Whedon supposedly got ran off by feminist on twitter.

Would have been the last thing I expected.

Just did a quick scan of the articles about the Whedon stuff. Shame man,

. Spidey would have been dope in this movie, even if it was just a tease.

Na, we been hearing for a while about Joss, the slightly surprising part is how frank/public he's being about it

But it's also not surprising at the same time, he's always had a manic, no filter, talk in circles quality to him
