Got to keep in mind that Fox also includes F4 which has Dr. Doom. If 2020 is the date they plan to kind of merge or work together, it makes sense as MCU will need a new villain and either Apocalypse or Dr. Doom could fill that void.

No one really knows, that is just a rumor at the moment but they have done both team-up and versus in the comics. XMen vs. Avenges would be like Civil War in a way and would be a cool adaptation but they could also just team-up against Doom or Galactus. I really could only see Marvel wanting to be friendly for the villains because they are kind of tapped out in terms of big villains like Thanos. I guess everyone dream cameo by Wolverine would have to happen soon and maybe Jackman might not retire the claws if this deal does happen.
Plenty of possibilities.

Already have to work with Sony, now Fox. It's had enough to have your own studio running but trying to keep track of what the other studios are doing too to make sure everything fits is no bueno
