It's really not saying much to me

MCU villains been pretty average to me.

I mean, Doc Ock from SM2 > Loki and Ultron.

Doc Ock > Loki? yikes :smh:
I am not a fan of MCU Loki at all.

Maybe it's just cuz I just came off Ledger's Joker but Loki is ******* lame. It seemed like it was Avengers when fans (many just being teenagers in love with Hiddleston) started deciding he was a good villain ignoring his lameness in the first Thor. There's nothing cool or menacing about him. He's an annoyance at best. They try to make him a schemer but his manipulation game is so basic on some Dr. Evil parody of a Bond villain ****. He's an Asgardian but lacks any real physicality. I scoffed when all those ppl knelt down to him in Avengers.

Son has no gravitas. Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul was more ominous. I'd take Doc Ock over him every time.

I hope by phase 4 Feige has firmly established a better caliber of villain across the board (on a bigger scale cbm villains in general have been lacking in being really well developed and/or menacing villains). I feel Fisk was a good start but even that is not unanimous among fans since some think he was a crybaby.
Will not tolerate Loki slander.

Easily 3rd best character in Marvels cinematic universe.
And again that is not saying anything.

The majority of MCU villains are butt.

And if you really meant 3rd best character in the MCU as in out of all the characters hero or villain then :smh:

A little info about the history between Klaue and Panther.

"Ulysses Klaue was an assassin hired to take down T'Chaka at the Bilderberg conference in the case that he refused to negotiate Wakanda's resources including Vibranium. But, Klaue was also there personally, as the Panther killed his great-grandfather in the 19th century while this one was trying to annex Wakanda. He was paid ten million dollars for the kill."

Best part was the mentioning of The Intelligencia

Watched Mad Max on ya'll recommendation, that is def a blockbuster thrill ride. The world and the visuals are crazy, but once you buy into it, it makes sense. Straight action throughout. OD with the one of the best films of the year comments.

When we found out Marvel had regained the rights to the Blade character, excitement began to build about the possibility of seeing another movie or a TV series featuring the popular vampire-slayer. Wesley Snipes even hinted that he'd been having discussions with the studio about reprising the role, though in later interviews he seemed to play that down - maybe because he was told to?

Bleeding Cool has heard from a "well-connected source" that the Marvel higher-ups have begun to take notice of the popularity of the character, and see the potential in producing another big-screen outing... with one twist: the site also hears that it would be the new Blade, Fallon Grey, that the movie would focus on. In the new comic series Fallon's father is also a prominent character, so there's every chance Snipes really is in talks to return in more of a secondary, mentor-like capacity.

Agreed. Loki is one of the best characters in the MCU. Better than at least half of those heroes in the movies and all the heroes in the TV Shows (excluding netflix)
Damn yall got some low standards. If I felt that way I'd think most of the MCU characters suck and would be ******** on the lack of character development and proper reflection of these comic characters all the time.

I'm here for this. Nothing saying the New Line movies couldn't be brought into the MCU. Blade playing the Whistler roll would be interesting to say the least.

Apparently they're relaunching the Blade comic this fall with him Training his daughter to take over for him

“Blade’s daughter is 16-year-old Fallon Grey,” Seeley reveals. “She’s a sort of ‘anti-Peter Parker.’ She’s popular, she’s well-liked and it seems like the world is her oyster. But, the expectations that come with being so damn perfect are starting to break her down, and that’s before she learns she’s the heir to a Daywalking-Monster-Stabbing-Empire.”

extra info on the source material that rumor is coming from...

Couple of sites are assuming the Blade project is actually the MCU TV show John Ridley has been developing (was rumored to be Ms.Marvel)

I don't mind it but since this is birthed out the comics I wish I had some reading comics about this daughter.

I'll enjoy an introduction through film or tv first but it's different. In some ways you can do more with the comics with history unless it's a show that's on the level of DD or other great shows of the past.

I'll be patiently waiting though.

I caught TMZ some time last week and they were talking to Snipes about upcoming movies. He mentioned a few things but the last was him as a new superhero. He specifically said new and when asked about Blade I don't think he answered. If he was coming back as Blade and couldn't reveal it yet I doubt he'd say new. Plus as far as I know he's only been talking to Marvel so it has to be with them. So since then I've been thinking about what other black Marvel superhero he could play.

I've only come up with Blue Marvel which I can see Wesley pull off and want to do. I just don't know if I see Marvel announcing that at all. As a movie that'd be phase 4 (unless it's a netflix movie like somebody mentioned) some time 2019 and onward (Snipes will be well over 60 by then and yeah BM is in that age range but dunno if old man superheroes are gonna be a thing like old man action heroes are now) which is so far away.

Wesley to old man. Let him go. He could have roles in the film of course. Even a major one. But not as Blade.
