it doesnt have to be a full out war with hundreds of heroes but it can be some huge moral disagreement between tony and steve which forces the heroes we do have to take sides

for people that have read the civil war comics, sucks that they wont be able to have that punisher moment on screen

Iron spider will def be a costume Tony will give Peter as a token of joining the superhuman registration act. Once Peter sees Tony is doing some shady stuff, he'll switch over to cap's secret avengers and rock his OG suit. The suit from ASM2 looks so perfect I might add. (Maybe they find a way to have Peter rocking the symbiote after the civil war just like after the comic. Sony picks up with Back in Black... ) my head is about to explode :x

I haven't read Civil War yet, but how are they going to do this with so few heros out there? I'm nervous about this. Marvel may be moving into this too soon.

It's just gonna be all the regs and a few super powered ppl. I think it'll still be cool cuz it'll be a different story but nowhere as epic as the comic. Get ready for the likes of Hawkeye, BW, Falcon, War Machine/Iron Patriot, and maybe 2-3 new superheroes choosing sides between Cap and IM and I have to believe somehow Thor will be nowhere to be found when this goes down and Hulk might be "cured" or imprisoned or sent away.

Still not seeing the signs of bringing up Spider-Man though like one person kept saying was inevitable Right now seems like this possible CW story wouldn't even need Spidey given how'd they have to explain all his bs continuity from the bad SONY films.

What Punisher did not only stuck to his principles but also took balls to do in a room full of heroes

Yes I know spiderman zik that Peter wears the costume but Sony wants so bad to introduce the symbiote. Combine that with ultimates story line of the symbiote being a for cure cancer....oscorp....easy way to introduce symbiote......Sony's best move was doing this.

Then maybe you should reread what I've been saying. You gets no props from me.

Talking about a comic poster is clues to a corporation movie partnership and Spidey crossover in to MCU. Story wise the current Spider-Man jumping in to CW doesn't make any sense unless they about to ignore the majority of the ASM turd continuity and just pretend Spidey been a hero all along or give us a new Spidey for the MCU.

I'm just saying it wouldn't make sense. The whole point of Back in Black is in the title. It being the 2nd go around in those colors. Plus the end of Civil War just gives no explanation for introducing an alien symbiote Similar with the Ultimate universe, a damn cure for cancer and Oscorp don't have a damn thing to do with anything

Furthermore, I'm gonna keep saying this, if I'm gonna entertain a Spidey crossover in to the MCU it has to be **** what SONY wants. It's a MCU movie, let SONY keep their trash story elements that make no sense when they do their movies. In the MCU let Marvel have complete control with what they do with Spidey and SONY can just get a percentage of the profits.

Not sure what Wolverine got to do with this but all I remember with him in CW is hunting down Nitro and discovering the plot behind the incident in CT.


Also, I literally don't remember what BP's role in CW was at all. Wasn't son just married to Storm, warring with Doom and stayed out of the whole war? He literally didn't play any role worth mentioning.

Isn't Chris Evans on record as to saying he won't re-up once his Marvel deal is finished?

Nah, he cleared up all the rumors in another interview. He said he does want to slow down on acting and focus more on directing but he'd definitely be willing to do more Marvel films. Also he's signed up for 6 movies so I don't see him dying in Cap 3.

it doesnt need to be registration like in the comics, they can come up with anything to divide the heroes

hopefully its an empire strikes back status ending where all seems lost and it all seems hopeless as thanos looms in the background 

I think they would stick with registering but with the lack of secret identities, just have it focus more on the heroes being forced to work, take orders, and answer to the government and whatever agency there is now instead of SHIELD by then. I mean Cap 2 already started with stuff dealing with the government and civil liberties being taken away so we already know where Rogers stands on that. After the disaster of Ultron that he jumpstarted, I can see Stark being down and willing to work with government for the greater good in his own mind.

As much as I like Downey as Stark, I hope his role is kept to minimum on Cap 3.

I agree that by the end of the Civil War after all the heroes are done fighting each other and still divided and weakened would be the perfect time for Thanos to come and strike.

Man I'm hype! Like many I would like to see all the characters from the comic book on screen but i know it wont happen . Whats this talk about Marvel possibly getting/borrowing Spiderman? Spiderman plays a huge role in Civil War but they would have to get an older Peter Parker to be in the movie cause it just wouldn't work with the teenage Peter.
Would Tobey Maguire come back ? lol.

Glad that Marvel got Punisher back too. He had a dope role in Civil War as well. Personally If these new shows do well, Id have the same actors in the Civil War movie with smaller roles that way you already have the established actor's/characters in the movie.

Wonder if they'll just go with Marvel: Civil War or stick with Avengers : __________

Now that the films going to be semi-political and Russo doing so well in in Cap2, many will probably be more open to the idea.
