WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I like how they tell us that in universe its been 8 years since Tony came out as Iron Man. That means they've been having these events almost twice a year. No wonder the world is fed up with them

I'm saying things were awesome before Tony got kidnapped in tora bora

Saw last night, by far my favorite Marvel film since the MCU started.

Team Cap all the way, government agendas would turn the Avengers into tools of war instead fighting for the greater good.

"Country X doesn't allow the US to extract its resources and set a base. Send Hulk to change their mind"

Also Tony selfishly made his decision as he admitted that he hoped signing the Accord would help him bring back Pepper. But Cap was on his DeAngelo Russel, by not telling Tony about his parents. :smh: scumbag.

I probably have CW as number two in MCU, I just like IM1 so much and I'd put Winter Solider/Avengers as a very, very close third.

It does have the best action sequence in all CBMs, hell as a comic book nerd I'd probably pick it as the best fighting scene of all time.

I liked BvS but man while waiting for the end credit I just keep thinking, "F**k, DC should be making things this EPIC!"

My mom and dad are watching this movie with me tonight for Mother's Day. They watched Avengers with me and also Winter Soldier. In all honesty they probably forgot the events of said movies. I'm hoping they don't get too confused

They loved Avengers 1 but thought WS was only so so. I'm guessing CW is going to split the difference.

My initial impression was that it was going to be hard to choose between this and A1. But after the second viewing I got to put this ahead of A1.

I'm not understanding how some ppl are putting this behind WS because this movie was basically WS on steroids.

Story-wise, I think WS is deeper and better and was just a big surprise the route they went, so it was kind of the first of it's kind CBM-wise?

Same way the first Avengers will top most list just because seeing those guys for the first time was priceless, that feeling is difficult to duplicate.

I mean I'm not going to laugh at anyone who puts WS ahead but I'm not going to agree that it had a deeper story.

WS was basically about a hydra conspiracy at shield and Cap was on the run and then he decides to take out shield. Lots of forward momentum and really not enough time to stop for anything else. But it was a remarkably well put together movie that had repeat value. It's in my top 5 for sure.

But here at CW they were on the run too, but then there was also themes of friendship and betrayal and loyalty and sticking to your principles

#kanyeshrug

I will agree that WS was sort of a first with the way the movie was put together and for some ppl they will value their 'first experience' over subsequent similar adventures.

I see most of the plaudits are going towards BP and Spidey for good reason bt man,how about we show a little love to Antman . Dude was out here looking like a prime JR Smith off the bench wrecking fools left and right with ease as Giant man  :pimp:. I nerded out the same amount during that scene than I did when they first showed T'Challa and Spidey

The whole theater was dying when he was messing with Stark's suit and then cheered when he turned into Giant Man.

'You got to take this to the shop man'

Ant Man and Spider Man was the most efficient characters in terms of making the most of their time. I doubt Paul Rudd and Tom Holland filmed for more than a week.

Very true, Holland really has potential star quality.

After Spidey said "HOLY S---", everyone really got into it at my theater.

Ant-Man- "YEAH PYM TOLD ME TO NEVER TRUST A STARK!"

Tony- "and you are??"

Ant-Man- "C'mon man....."

This movie was an excuse for them to fight no matter no absurd the reason.

Winter Solider as a movie is better than this in every way. Winter Solider isn't a good superhero movie its a great movie period.

From a comic fan standpoint i see why someone would think this is better though.

Movie is projected to cross 700 worldwide tomorrow.

My guess is 1.5 bill before it's all said and done. Not bad not bad :pimp:

For the sake of comic book fanboyness and amazing characterization by the Russos, I have to put this ahead of WS.

But WS definitely feels "tighter" as a movie and I can easily see why people would like it more

Am I the only person that thinks its weird people care about box office numbers?

I mean I understand if those numbers decide if another movie is coming out but its strange to me people care that a movie makes a lot of money. Like they ain't giving you a cut and the more money a movie makes the more special interests the sequels have to serve.
