WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

It's the nostalgia of it that stays with me,it's still the most fun I've ever had playing a fighting game. I've played MvC3 and UMvC3 enough to last a lifetime thanks to my friends  .

Sure it is fun and I'll give you that it's probably the richest one in terms of Marvel lore and content that they added but once again, the nostalgia and good memories I've had with MvC2 are impossible to top. Another reason might also be cause of the fact that I always end up getting my *** handed to me in MvC3 *shrugs*  :\

Marvel 2 is full of memories for me as well. But I remember wondering what Marvel 3 would be like the day I played marvel 2 14 years ago. Marvel 3 was the perfect successor to Marvel 2. It paid homage to all of the Marvel vs. games while trying to be balanced. 50 characters all insanely unique. Good mix of new characters you thought would never make it (Thor :wow:) and characters you never thought would return (Tron Bonne :wow:). I can't go a day without randomly blurting out "Impact Palm!"

You have to be trolling with this post. You simply have to.

Why?

Your thumbs down was pretty harsh too

As mentioned earlier,Frank Grillo would've been perfect if he wasn't already crossbones. He even said earlier in the year that he would love to play the role. Aside from him, another impossible but good choice would be Josh Brolin. I could also see Jeffrey Dean Morgan or Scott Adkins doing it justice.

I seriously wouldn't mind seeing Thomas Jane again though,he was solid.

I thought I was the only one who liked Thomas Jane as punisher

Naa he practically nailed Castle for me,his short at comic con from a few years was also appreciated

The punisher is a one note character that barley works in comics and doesn't work for a movie character.

He's homicidal maniac who kills criminal, not really a lot of places to go with that, and it doesn't really fit in Marvel's disney super hero world.

Garth Ennis wrote the only punisher story that really needs to be written, the character could stop existing tomorrow and the culture wouldn't miss a beat.

The Punisher easily fits in with the street level guys. Having him at least mentioned in those shows would be cool. A Ghost Rider cameo or mention in Dr Strange would be cool as well

I liked Jane as Punisher too. Didn't mind that Punisher too badly either. Same way I didn't mind the Hulk movie with Bana.

Don't know if this has been said but if we get another Punisher anything I vote Karl Urban as Frank Castle
Funny you mention him, Skye on AOS just mentioned Microchip or w/e dude's name that use to help Castle.

I too await his debut in the MCU or on tv. Definitely expect him to show up in the DD series at some point either S1 or S2. If you think Punisher can't fit in the current Marvel plans on screen you're thinking is limited even if you think the only great stories about him were by Ennis. I'd love to see some of Ennis stories adapted on the small or big screen.

It'd be great if Urban became the Punisher. Not just cuz of Dredd either. I think he could do it. Before he came to mind I did think Frank Grillo pre Crossbones would've fit too.
