WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I just seen GOTG today thought it was a nice movie but I have some questions.

Is galactus a part of the celestial?

Is there an possibly we'll see Nova some time during the infinity wars?

And where are the rest of the stones?

It was hard not checking the thread when everyone was talking about it months back

Galactus is not a celestial.

Anything is possible but James Gunn said he wont be introducing humans in the GotG movie. He thinks its important that Quill be the only human. So we wont see Nova (Richard Rider) in Guardians 2.

Tesseract/Cosmic Cube/Space Gem is with the Asguardians (confirmed in Thor 2 mid credit scene). Last we heard the Infinity Gauntlet is there too (Thor 1 easter egg). Also, last we heard the Aether/Reality Gem is probably still with The Collector (as it was in the Thor 2 mid credit scene). Gunn confirmed he has multiple museums so it would make sense that it wasnt an easter egg in this movie. Also he wants to keep his ownership of them a secret.

Some people (who are prolly wrong imo) think the Sceptre is the mind gem. That is in Baron Von Strucker's secret lair (confirmed in Cap 2 mid credits scene).

The other two (prolly three) havent been shown yet.

EDIT:
If you want to see those end credit scenes

Thanks man, I gotta hit up YouTube because I don't remember the end credits.

That being the mind gem makes sense. I still haven't seen Thor two but I've seen screen shots of the gauntlet in a case I believe, it looked to have some gems in it already.

And what's up the duck at the end

Ohh and the Duck at the end was Howard the Duck. In the states this movie came out something like 28 years after the Howard the Duck movie (before Marvel Studios) to the date. It was just a nod to the character. But it would be funny as hell if helped defeat Thanos in Infinity War.

The Guantlet was in Thor 1.

Yes it did have the Gems inside. Just proof that the "10 year plan" they were up their own *** about wasnt legit.

New Details on Marvel’s Vision of SPIDER-MAN and Sony Deal
http://geektyrant.com/news/new-details-on-marvels-vision-of-spider-man-and-sony-deal

We already told you that Marvel is not interested in bringing Andrew Garfield back to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man if they take over the character. After the studio heard about all of the crazy ridiculous movie ideas that Sony had for the superhero, like the Aunt May origin story, which they ”severely disliked,” Marvel is looking to gain creative control over the character.

If Marvel does get the control they are looking for, they plan on "wiping the slate clean with Sony's Amazing Spider-Man universe.” They just don’t want to in any way continue with what Sony had done with the character, which makes sense.

According to Latino-Review if Marvel does get a hold of Spider-Man, one of the big changes they will bring is taking the focus "away from the romance and drama," which, as you know, was a was a very heavy element in Marc Webb's version. Apparently, Marvel believes that "romance has been played out over five installments already.” So it looks like romance will take a backseat in their version of Sider-Man and only be a side story.

What Marvel wants to do is put the focus back on Spider-Man the superhero and bring the character back to his true roots. The studio also believes "Spider-Man's origin is well-trodden territory, and any new Spider-Man movie in this new potential deal would begin with Peter Parker already leading a dual life as Spider-Man." Captain America: Civil War almost gave Spider-Man an introduction into the MCU, but as you’ve heard that is no longer happening. That’s ok, because another deal is in the works.

According to a recent rumor from Screen Gonzo, talks between Sony and Marvel will commence next year, and Marvel President Kevin Fiege wants producer Avi Arad out of the picture (Maybe because of this). Feige is said to by happy with how the deal is shaping up, which will include Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo developing a new trilogy.

Good grief, I hope we get news of a done deal on all of this Spider-Man craziness soon. It seems like it's eventually going to happen, it's just a matter of when.

I have to be honest this new Iron Man suit for A2 is my favorite so far

Yeah, the MK III's been my favorite since the beginning but I think the 43 has topped it. I never would've imagined they'd find a way to make a movie-esque Bleeding Edge armor.

Honestly I want Spidey to be introduced in Phase 4 instead of being awkardly shoved in one of the movies that has already been planned.

You want him after Infinity War?

Just Black Widow Spidey in these phase 3 movies putting him in wherever he's needed and after phase 3 there can be a solo movie about him mentoring Miles Morales and grooming him to spearhead the next generation

Can't believe negotations start in 2015. I thought the studios been talking. If Spidey ends up in Civil War, it'd be cutting it close.

Best case scenario - short cameo in Civil War, extended cameo in Black Panther? *shrugs

It would be better if it's the other way around, but the schedule wouldn't allow that, I don't think

So i take it that spider-man is important to the civil war stortline.

Which actor do you guys see as the new SM?

Apparently they were talking before and Sony proposed a bull **** deal. Marvel wanted no parts of Sony keeping creative control, carrying the ASM baggage in to the MCU, and crap like Aunt May: Super Spy so the plan for him to show up in Civil War was scrapped. Deal was over, according to the e-mails that's how it's been since early this year. Then a few months ago like Oct. according to other e-mails, they resumed talks. Highly doubt Spidey makes it in to CW at all.

Spiderman was important to the comic version of the storyline...This is something that can be changed though, much like Marvel does already by replacing them with current characters that they have (replacing AntMan's storyline of creating Ultron with Iron Man).

Garfield should continue to be Spiderman. Dude was dope IMO. Not his fault his scripts were too forced...

Im in no rush to see another spidey movie, even one made by Marvel. Being done right is how Marvel has such a loyal fanbase.

Done right >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> done as early as possible.

Black widowing him wouldnt work because black widow has been poppin up in places where they need an agent of shield or next to cap, where she belongs. Is spidey supposed to swing in front of Surtur and save the day? He just knows Thor on that level?

The only place it could've worked, with good writers, is Civil War and they have already said it wont happen in time.

He still hasn't been treated right as a High Schooler. I'd love to see him in high school on Netflix and just battling lower tier villains, growing and all that. He could even join Shield or something. If anyone could have a truly great show, it'll be him.

We all have a bitter taste in our mouths from chasing high school sweethearts. No one wants to see his love interest or his high school drama ever again.

Assuming Spidey ever returns to the Marvel fold, I don't see why not he can't have his own netflix mini series like the Defenders. Makes sense. Based out of New York, fighting lower level villains. Allowing for crossover between all five characters.

If the Defenders are a hit on Netflix, Marvel will consider this.
