WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Love the cinematography..

I'm starting to get excited about the movie because I see Marvel's having fun with it

Thought Guardians of the Galaxy was the perfect bottle for them to catch lightning with. If they can do it again with Ant-Man then I wont even question Dr. Strange.

How were the episodes btw?

It would have to be. It would be the only way they could sell this movie.

Agent Carter was awesome. I'm really liking this show. Haley Atwell is killing it. And that Antman trailer looks good. It just needed a little bit more action.

Also if this is going to be a comedy heist movie they should've showcased it. I think this trailer wouldve been better with an extra 30 secs added to it.

I trust in the homie Paul Rudd

Marvel going for the funny guys and turning them into action heroes, I can dig that...hope Rudd follows the same success and opportunities as Pratt...he's long over due :pimp:

Really can't wait for this movie. honestly can't wait til he joins Avengers along with Black Panther. Body is Super ready

They use green screen because with digital cameras green has the highest luminosity and color detail out of the RGB color model so there is just more information to work with when tweaking it.

digital cameras process Red, Green and Blues and uses the luminance (brightness) between those three colors to "guess" the other ones, for lack of a better term (yellow, orange, purple etc). I think this is bayer filtering. It works like that because the human eye is way better at seeing contrast than the difference in actual color.

Green is usually used on scenes that are brighter because it just works better in the light and makes keying easier.. you use Blue in a darker environment because it has minimal color spill while keying

see the difference in the lighting?

iirc Blue was the industry standard back when everything was on film and the Superman films were the first to use green screens. but don't quiz me because i'm not too clear on all that

And to answer the question why they don't just use any color is because with Red there just isn't enough information, plus it clashes with skin tones and something like bright orange technically doesn't exist to the camera's eye

Repped.

Yup definitely why we wont see skrulls anytime soon outside maybe a cameo. They aint planning an invasion with only two skrulls

Cinematography definitely looks greats. I hope the tone of the film matches this trailer. I know there will be humor but the tone here was perfect.

Only thing I got from that teaser other than it being good is that I just can't imagine the Wright version being nothing but jokey in a real campy sort of try new things way.

Well aren't his films mostly comedic?

I kinda expected that from the get go.

plus they had McKay come in and basically just add jokes throughout the film.

Some of those effects at the end looked a little iffy but it's still pretty early
