WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

the first episode alone was better than whatever seasons they have of AoS  action and story

FACT

The first two episodes are better than a half season of any of the current superhero shows. Couldnt even finish ep 11 of gotham because of how laughable it was in comparison. This is an abc show. Daredevil must be "pass me the aux cord" type fire. :wow:

You dudes just hate AOS for whatever reason. S2 has been exceptional.

Agent Carter has started good but it's only a mini series from what I understand. It's simple and you only have a few characters to focus on.

In the realm of marvel film/tv universe, AOS as a whole thus far is pretty good, especially if you've watched Cap 2.

Unfair comparison because Agent Carter has fewer characters, less episodes, less need to set up, less need for exposition, only one arc - it's basically a long TV movie.

It'd be a complete fail if the first two episodes wasn't fantastic, because that's one quarter of the season already. Lol

AoS was Marvel's first time getting into TV, there was bound to be growing pains and figuring stuff out, now it appears they have.

Completely unfair comparison because the show was written and designed better.

okay

They're working with different parameters. You give AoS only 8 episodes to work with, they'd cut the cast in half and have a streamlined arc too.

Well then they should've done that. Agents of Shield doesn't get a pass because they tried to stretch 8 episodes of material in 24.

That just shows how poorly the show was made

If you are gonna make 24 ep seasons, make sure you have 24 ep worth of content. Not rocket science.

Just because you didn't have the patience to see it all the way through doesn't mean the show was poorly made. Everything in those earlier episodes served a purpose and you realize this if you make it to the end of the season.

But I guess explosions every couple of minutes is what's needed to keep the attention of some.

Nope. Im a fan of story. Substance > flash.
AoS had none of those things. Everything had a purpose? I would certainly hope so
Doesnt change the fact that it was BAD!

I don't think you ever gave AoS a chance, bro. The last time you critiqued the show, you didn't even know anyone's names lol

Doubt that's true but it wouldnt be beneath me. If a show isnt actively being watched at the moment I usually dont remember names. Even when GoT, OITNB, and HoC come back on I will have re memorize a lot of names. Keeping the names of even the main characters in bad shows in memory would be a task. They never gave me a reason to give a damb about any of their names.

Just watched the Agent Carter one shot, and in it Howard Stark tells Peggy she's going to run Shield with him.

Yet in the show, she's still working at the SSR or whatever. Are they ignoring the one shot or what?

Also, would some of you guys have a problem if we discuss Agent Carter & Agents of Shield in here? It seems like people aren't aware that those threads even exist. In the AOS thread, it seems like it's only me, Zik & RFX in there

I'll be honest I didn't have the time and or patience to watch all the episodes of AoS. The 2nd season has been better tho. Honestly I wish it was only a few episodes just like how Agent Carter is.

doesn't SSR become SHIELD?

Heeeeyyyyyy. I'm in there when the show is on too.

Anthony Mackie 'The Falcon' Confirms he's in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR; Reveals New Filming Locations

When Anthony Mackie and Kevin Costner stopped by the B96 Chicago to promote their new film, Black or White, the former actor was asked about his return as Sam Wilson aka the Falcon in Captain America: Civil War. "We start shooting in April," Mackie said. "So, it's gonna be a lot of flying and fighting for about five months... and I'm not mad at all." Costner then asked where filming for the Marvel sequel will be taking place. "Puerto Rico, Berlin, and Atlanta," he replied. Unfortunately, that was all Anthony Mackie had said about Civil War during the video interview.

Yeah but she was already working in SSR in the one shot. It confuses me because they said SSR eventually becomes Shield.

Perhaps the one shot happens later on in the timeline of the Agent Carter series, after she gets Stark cleared

lol I lurk in there. I usually don't watch the episodes the day they air so I tend to avoid it.
