I'm still wondering how the end of Spider-Men ties into the 616 universe or where in the timeline does it take place in. 

I am happy that Miles Morales will be part of the 616 universe.

I wouldn't mind if Miles Morales was the Spider-Man of the MCU. But I'm sure plenty of people disagree.

Just finished talking about this in the comics thread. If anything the EiC just said the opposite of a reboot would happen.

Then again ppl have been using the word reboot all crazy without it's meaning mattering much. Marvel isn't starting over their universe.

Just went through that video. Seems like they meant end of the physical universe, not the actual timeline. Only throwing away universes that are held together by one character like Miles or Spider-Gwen

pretty much. Well that's how I interpreted it. An Incursion happens, both universes fail to stop it, the earths collide and a new earth is made. Some characters will survive, some will "die".

From what someone told me everything from 616 stays the same.. The might be alt universes created from this that go back and change some significant storylines but that doesn't mean the original event didn't happen.

Some of the ultimate storylines will collide with 616 and basically exist in a separate universe that they can mess around with them..

i mean it just sounds like an elaborate way to make Inhumans the new mutuants of this era to me

While it might be a case similar to that of the Iron Man Deep Space Suit toy for Iron Man 3 having nothing to do with the movie, a newly revealed Funko POP! Vinyl toy may indicate a major change could be in store for one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Scarlet Witch cast a spell removing blood ties between Them and Magneto. I dont think anything was said about them not being mutants but I wouldnt be surprised if that was the case. The rest will probably be explained in Uncanny Avengers Vol. 2

If I am understanding you correctly, that's what I guessed would be the case cuz some of those titles are not alt universes. It seemed like they created an alt universe similar to events we are familiar with. Either that or I missed the part when Civil War and AvX became alt universes.

That's not what a reboot is.

That's just raising the scales to show this event is deserving of the hype.

One time Dr. Strange got in a fight that led to the end of the 616 universe. He used magic to create a new universe exactly like the 616 in every way except for the fact that he knew the universe had ended. Another time Thanos had to destroy the 616 universe to stop a multiversal threat and he used some cosmic item to recreate the universe in the exact same way with only slight minor differences.

Ending a universe doesn't mean a reboot is going to happen.

I will say I have no doubt Marvel is ending the ultimate universe for good though and they're just gonna salvage w/e unique characters, concepts, story ideas already in the works they want to stick around as they move forward.

Mutants will still exist though.

If they wanted to get rid of mutants they wouldn't need an elaborate way to do it. They just would've never brought mutants back after AvX. They'd keep the # the same and then slowly have most of them die out until only the X-Men existed and then make them like any other superhero team fighting super villains.

The twins are still mutants. Don't pay attention to rumors or craze X-fans that are scared Marvel is phasing mutants out of the comics cuz of movie rights.

So far nothing has been said of them being Inhumans. No reason not to believe they're not mutants but if you want to know more they claim it'll all be in the relaunched Uncanny Avengers comic.

They're no longer the children of Magneto or related in any way but so far that seems to be a retcon restoring the original continuity when they weren't the children of Magneto which was the case for like the first 15-20 years of their existence.

That's not what happened.

She cast a spell to strike down anyone related to her. Quicksilver went down. Magneto didn't. Then she realized they weren't related, laughed, mocked him, attacked him and then left.

for like the past couple months they've been making PS's of pretty much every superhero and putting black actors as the main character.. there is a Will Smith Batman one, Michael Jai White Wolverine one. Donald Glover Spiderman etc

there isn't a joke it's just that people are actually believing these things are really. Should of screenshot the comments
