I'm probably looking too deep into this, but Tony essentially makes himself all machine with Bleeding Edge, right?

Would love to see it happen in any of the upcoming films.

I figure they'll AOU is when Tony hangs up the suits for a while and play a different role. I think it's that, along with the fat check, is why RDJ came back for more. He may put it back on when Thanos comes down though.

The Extremis formula, iirc, gives some healing factor which allows Stark to survive with the nano tech inside his bones?

I am not sure but if you have Netflix you can check out the Motion Comic of the Extremis Arc in there, not sure if it's still there it's been years since I watched it.

what was the point of ending the 3rd movie with him removing what made him iron man from his chest

only to put the whole suit under his skin by the next movie

further confirms that iron man 3 was trash

To be fair people are just assuming that's the bleeding edge armor, it isn't confirmed.

I think they the closest we will get to it is each piece of his armor comes to him like in IM3.

What made Bleeding Edge cool though is that he can form it into different things...

This armor made Iron Man the most poweful hero in the world. It can go toe to toe with Thor and savagely beat an amped Ulik, Red Hulk , Wonder Man. Its power source has been described as a man made star.This entire armor is kept inside Tony's body until mentally commanded, at which point it manifests itself as the Iron Man Armor. The armor is made up of Nano-Machines that can now be commanded to turn into any type of structure upon Stark's skin. For example, the Nano-machines can turn into clothes, other armors, or even different beings completely, by having the Nano-machines change their properties into whatever Stark wants them to be. It can also dissociate to transform into the Iron Man armor whenever Stark wishes. The armor and Stark's own transhuman body are powered by the high-yield R.T. node mounted in his chest. The high output of the node has greatly augmented Stark's intelligence and provided him with superhuman-level multitasking and learning capabilities. The previous armor , Extremis armor , was enough to defeat The Sentry , who was at the time the most powerful superhero in the world, and the Bleeding Edge armor was much more powerful than the Extremis armor so that implies that Tony can easily defeat the sentry while in the Bleeding edge armor which makes him far more superior than any of his enemies. The known weaponry includes repulsors, uni-beam, pulse bolts, tasers, and an energy blade. Defenses include deflector shields. Other type of weapons and upgrades seems to be created by Stark's imagination, such as a boxing glove, large guns extending from his arms, or cannons.

The suit's repulsors, which are located around the knuckles, chest, back and legs of the armor, as well as in the traditional palms, now function also as cameras, or "eyeballs", which afford Stark a 360-degree panoramic view around himself.Temporarily replacing the suit's primary composite - iron/platinum - with carbon nanotubes rendered it unaffectable by Magneto's powers when he and Iron Man engaged in combat over Utopia

I really like these Ultron Sentries and I never really buy "drones", but I may need one or two of these guys to flank Ultron. That base looks good.

Other than that, I can't wait to get this figure, looks good

Yezzir. I wasn't expecting this until at least September, but the sooner the better. Although I'm more excited about Cap being released after him though.

The Extremis virus (that's what it really is) didn't give a healing factor so much as it completely converted his body. He's really part machine and more of a cyborg. The tech is just so advanced that it works on the same level to us but for robots if they got like a huge cut on their arm where for us would require stitches or more is nothing to them cuz the arm isn't important they can get another one.

Tony gets rid of all signs of Extremis when he gets bleeding edge if I remember right or it was less harmful as an advancement which is why he was open to **** like hollowing it out his own bones to store the suit.
