WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

The way the Hulk is written, if he transforms on his own, he can control it much better than if he simply rages out.

This. It's all about the state of mind you're in when you transform. If you're just mad, then you get the classic, uncontrollable Hulk. But if you consciously control the transformation, you get the hulk that can work with the Avengers.

How? It makes for very interesting writing. Better than being a boring story where he is in full control all the time.

Dude is 3rd smartest in the universe, behind Reed and Doom but he hasnt been a comparable benefit to mankind as people DUMBER than him. Partially because he is frequently on the run so he doesnt have the same resources as Reed, Doom, Stark, T'Challa, Pym, etc. Partially because he had dedicated so much time to fixing the Hulk.

There's the fact that there are multiple "Hulks" he could transform to depending on many factors like the environment, body vitals, stress levels, and such.

Planet/World War Hulk was a combination of a bunch of Hulks so that he could survive the harsh environment of Sakaar.

Yeah, OR they didn't fully think it out and needed an action scene during the boring midway point.

"Put down the scepter" :x

Worst part of the movie was when they all "turned" on each other for 10 mins.

Yea the hulk almost killing widow then being able to control himself after he fell from the sky confused me.

Why was it so confusing though? He really wanted to kill her because he thought he was being manipulated. The bomb went off from the arrow hawkeye shot and he assumed that part of the plan they had to capture him. You saw him on the verge of being hostile and dude has been on the run all these years, why is he going to trust some strangers that work for the government? Just like he fought Thor on the helicarrier, he wasn't uncontrollable, it's just Thor was in his way. Once ish got real and he realized that they were all together to fight a common enemy, they all fought side by side. But he held a grudge from Thor spanking his *** earlier on the helicarrier, that's why he punched him toward the end. I don't really understand the confusion personally

After skimming through that video, the guys who wrote the liveblog were off.

They said "ooo" not "boo". Still wasnt positive but nowhere near as negative as they made it seem. Also Ultron is 8 feet not Vision

exactly! How would that take away from a BP movie?! There's enough slots for a BP and BW movie.

Seriously think people just don't want a female lead action movie. :smh:

Meh, nothing to do with being female. Y'all reaching. FYI I don't care if they make a BW movie or not. Don't think they would though

There is quicksilver in A2 and Cap2. what are the rules or deals going on with the Quicksilver that appeared in X-Men DoFP? 2 separate entities completely or what? can they share 1 hero?

I hate to break it to yall.

There is a snowballs chnace in hell of a stand alone black panther movie. A supporting character maybe but stand alone nah. The reasons are pretty obvious:

1. A stadalone black panther film woould have to be set jn wakanda and there fore would involve majority black cast.

2. These movies primary value is that these internationally known properties play well international markets specifically china, sad to say but i don't think a majority black film set in Africa is way risker proposition in those markets.

3. Black panther has been a marginalized character in marvel comics, period. There really, isn't a wealth of great material or classic storylines. Latley marvels been working him a bit more but mostly as a supporting character. It would take a director and writer with a really strong vision to create something brand new for film. Given that 90% of the film industry is white i don't think that guy is going to be easy to find that guy unless tarintino wanta to write a black panther film.

4. The cost of these movies really decreases the amount of risk studios are willing to take. Its one thing to make think like a man 2 with a majority black cast but a 200 million dollar block buster set in Africa hard time seeing anyone at disney approving that.

i hate to be cynical but i think there is basically no way.
