WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

LOL im not sensitive man, its all conversation

no, i didnt EXPECT anything different

we all knew what was coming

im speaking about the story choice made
im sorry but LOL @ what these sensitive dudes here consider an 'attack'

im a conversationalist, boggles my mind how people join a discussion board and dont understand that discussion can go both ways

that people wont always agree with your view while also being tolerant of others views
Yeah, some folks get defensive. Just not trying to engage in e-beef, but it's all good

. I will say the Civil War announcements reduced a bit of the hype for this film for me though. And honestly, I'm more excited for Ant-man than I was this.

i also understand that these Marvel stories for the most part arent new.

some of these stories were new scifi theories back when they were written, and im fine with that

as long as the story is good and makes sense im all for it

id like to see them get into some Ancient Alien theory though

I gave in and watched.

It was alright, but definitley not on par with Avengers 1 or the more recent Winter Soldier or Guardians of the Galaxy.

No way was the first one better than this. Absolutely no way.
Not at all. This one was definitely better. Better cinematography and action. Better character moments. Especially better character moments. I keep telling myself that I'm going to get tired of BW, but she stands out in this film for me. Even Hawkeye had nice moments. No character was wasted in this film. They all were important in some way. Unlike the first one. Only thing this film doesn't have that the first one does is the humor. This film has humor, it just feels more natural in this one imo. I see myself watching this more than once. The first one I still watch, only to see certain moments tho.

But like dude said, it's subjective.

ive never understood how GotG gets such high marks

dont get me wrong
i liked it
and thought it was a good movie

but to me the story telling in Avengers 1 and Cap 2 were extraordinary

GotG story wasnt as great i thought

but then again i dont know anything about the comics
and i understand alot of the elements people like/dislike come from the comic book backgrounds

For those who havent been scared away from this thread by dude who was spoiling plot points, one of his spoilers was very inaccurate

Speaking on our conversation from before.

It was even worse than I imagined :x That death was forced and completely preventable :smh:

Otherwise I agree with you. This film is superior in every way but it requires a little bit more suspension of disbelief.

I honestly didn't even mind it like I thought I would. What made it work for me was the turn around they had from working with Ultron to trying to stop him. I thought it worked. I always expected it to be him tho. Aaron Taylor Johnson rarely does sequels I belive, and when I heard there was going to be a death, I figured it would be him because of that. SW can alter reality right? He could possibly come back, especially if she hasn't tapped into all of her powers yet.

The ending was stupid.

Ronan was a good villain, then he gets killed off the way he did.
