WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Yea I caught those Easter eggs I guess I was hoping for some visuals. Yea I feel the same about the orb. I feel like the orb should have been soul and the ether power. Was anyone else hulk would fly off to space once he got on that plane? #planethulk. I guess it wouldn't make sense for world war hulk tho

I can see why Thor III needs to be a big film. With what he witnessed in the film, it seems Thor's next movie will play a very big role leading up to the Infinity War. (If Marvel already announced that, then my bad. lol I'm just thinking off the top of my head.)

I also think that Avengers 2 will play a bigger part in A3 than the first one did for A2. Wakanda looked like NYC after A1 so I would guess BP will join Tony Stark. Also he is a man of science.

Just got back from AoU.

Very good film but for now I'm just going to say my top 3 MCU films doesn't change.

Im also assuming the team at the end of A2 will be on cap's side for Civil War and Thor will be off planet just like in the comics.

Don't think that exact area was Wakanda.

I laughed at the tech guy on the Hell-carrier. Dude reminded me of Ted Mosby from HIMYM LOL.
I didn't put "missing person" and Bucky together. Glad I read this thread.

I like the 'new' Avengers. I enjoy the chemistry that Falcon and Cap have on screen. It works well.

I disliked how Von Strucker was basically another throw-away villain.

A part of me is thinking Ultron isn't dead. But I could simply be hopeful in wanting a Marvel villain to survive at the end of a film lol.

LOVED IT
some observations (are we fine without hiding spoilers now? SPOILERS!)

I love that:
the Mind Gem is in Vision
Vision was Ultron's final planned form
Elizabeth Olsen and her beauty was in the movie
Civil War preparation
Vision holding the Hammer
Ultron's scene where he kills himself to show his next form LMAO
all of the bad dreams they had
captain america had his Peggy flashback
finally get some appreciation for Hawkeye and exposure to Black Widows past
INFINITY STONE DISCUSSION WAS INCLUDED!

Hulk buster scene was worth admission alone
Also DOES ANYONE else think Tonys vision of all the Avengers down and out in space actually going to happen in Infinity War?

GotG is very good but it isn't cracking my top 3.

If I am being honest, right now fresh off the theater, AoU might be 4th but in time I might place GotG there and put AoU fifth.

Damn I'm tired.

Sounds legit RFX. Yes pretty much.

Will think/discuss this more tomorrow.

Great movie. Not as good as the first but still good.

I put it behind Avengers, Winter Soldier and GotG.

not sure if I'm reaching but

when Tony punched Hulk out after he emerged from the rubble, was that a call back to how Hulk punched Thor in the first one?

Movie was awesome, I'd put it slightly over the first Avengers after one viewing but I obviously need to see it again to judge properly and I probably will this Sunday

Spoilers!

Honorable mentions

Cap and Thor combos
Hulkbuster and hulk go to sleep go to sleep go to sleep
Visions justification for having a cape (looks at thor)
Vision wielding the mjolinir
Ultron killing himself with his new upgrade
Thors face when cap nudges the mjolinir

And btw was that a new iron man suit towards the end
The one with Friday as the AI?
