It cracks me up how people still have hopes for that franchise
Especially while fox still hands it's hands on it
It won't be great until marvel and disney control it again
By the way am I the only one kinda hyped for tomorrowland

Yeah the first trailer months and months ago had me intrigued
But this one got me ready to see it release weekend
Disney so damn smart about it too
The release day for tomorrowland is the same day they celebrate their 60th anniversary

I saw that and ninja turtles the same day

First Class was laden with retcons and plot holes
DOFP was a masterpiece considering the awful continuity Singer had work with because of X3 and subpar prequels. I watch it at least twice a month
At least we agree on Guardians being overrated
**** was like a comedy central cartoon. I have no idea how they're supposed to incorporate those people (besides Thanos) into the Infinity war storyline

Judging by Fox's X-Men record I don't think Apocalypse aka Wolverine pt. 7 will be able to top this movie.

Brian Singer =/= 20th Century Fox
Out of the 7 X-Men movies, 3 were directed by Singer, and they happened to be the best ones.
Why are yall equating studios with directors? Thor 1, Thor 2, Iron Man 3, and Cap 1 were trash, so does that mean Marvel Studios as a whole sucks?

Seriously how much better off would wolverine and professor x be if they left him in that cell?
Hell how quickly would the movie be over if they just got quicksilver and his overpowered self?
Like literally before wolverine goes back in time, he is explicitly told he would need magneto.. And this wasn't dude try to get his past self out of jail on some ruthless personal shhhhhh.. Cause dude went down for the team couple scenes later in the future

With X1 and 2, I was just glad to see my childhood on film (like transformers).. But those movies weren't that great, better than x3.. But the bar ain't exactly high

I feel like first class would have been way better if Vaughn was just given control.. Without singer being the producer
Let him start with the real original members.. Still the story of professor x finding himself and his friendship,with magneto..
But instead of trying to scrap together team members because of course singer can't discard his movies, you have the orignal 8 (I think that's the right number off the top of my head)

Loved the movie. I don't know that I can place it above Cap 2 in my rankings. Hulkbuster was dooooope. I felt that Ultron was too human in his mannerisms. It was really as if I could see Spader. The mocap was that spot on. I would have liked to see a colder, less emotional Ultron. Great film regardless. Loved SW. Elizabeth really made it her role. War Machine is always appreciated. Can't wait to add this to my collection. For the record, first class is hot garbage.

First Class could have been god level if they just really honed in on the Xavier/Magneto storyline. Less focus on the kids ie. Mystique/Beast love story. They could have also taken out the Hell Fire club, they were completely worthless.
