WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I know that any Spiderman alongside the Avengers will bring a whole lot more money, but Peter Parker's familiarity makes sense. Also, the only reason Miles Morales exists is because he gained inspiration to become Spiderman from Peter. I can see them introducing him later in the new Spiderman reboot series. A la Winter Soldier without being evil.

This hypothetical post credits scene posted by someone on reddit would make me BONKERS

Thats not bad. I kinda wish I worked at one of these places so I could show them stuff like this. The internet SOMETIMES has better ideas than they do.

I wouldn't want them to take a suggestion that everybody recommended off of reddit  where's the surprise factor in that?

Eventually dudes will just post scripts and the one with the most upvotes becomes the movie

In this world where everything is leaked, are there truly anymore surprises?

That's a flimsy excuse  what's the point of watching movies when we can just send the studios what we want to happen? :nerd:

Another theory I read is that each infinity stone has basically absorbed the essence and sentience of those defeated by it

Red Skull in the Tesseract

Malekith in the Aether

Ronan in the Orb

Ultron in the Mind Gem if that's what Vision did

So basically a legion of supervillains returning LOL. Interesting indeed.

I mean, Spider-Boy is supposed to make his debut in Civil War, and Ant Man and Thor 3 are the last 2 movies before that. So it would be wise of them to at least acknowledge Peter Parker's existence in Ant Man so that when we see him in Civil War we can assume that he's already made the transformation into Spider-Man during the time gap. This way they don't have to spend too much time getting into his background/origin story. After all, it is supposed to be Captain America 3 and I imagine there isn't gonna be too much focus in Cap since everyone is gonna be in it.

But everyone knows peter parker so that argument is senseless. Not like we forgot who he was because they are starting over for the 3rd time

You can send stuff all you want doesn't mean they will use it. 9 times out of 10 if that reddit post was showed to someone at a studio, the studio would change it so much before it gets to film it wouldn't be the same.

And who says these companies don't have interns scouring the internet stealing ideas for movies already?

Yup, just trying to say that because he's Peter Parker, arguably the most popular superhero, casting him for the 3rd time wont hurt because everyone knows him and probably wouldnt take mind who plays him because they just want the costumed web slinger haha.

How did we get to that?

EDIT: Honestly I don't see it as any different than them always using Bruce Wayne as Batman.

Aside from **** Grayson's brief stint as Batman, Bruce Wayne has always been the perennial Batman.

On the other hand, Miles Morales is very much touted by Marvel Comics writers as a worthy successor to the Spider-Man identity. He's appeared in the animated series and has already met both the 616 and Ultimate Peter Parkers, who have expressed their approval wholesale.

Miles Morales IS Spider-Man. So to not cast him as such when you have a golden opportunity to do so, and after two well-acted Peter Parkers, is dumb as hell.

EDIT: the MCU is clearly based on the Ultimate verse anyway. They should just skip Parker this go around.

It'd be the first time they have spider man available for a huge franchise with the avengers. You want the normal spidey.
A smart route would be to keep Peter then get a miles in the second movie. Gold

This the MCU they could have come up any reason to make Miles their new Spider-man. ANY.
