I read in the SHH forums that someone confirmed there will be 3 versions Ultron in the film.

Oh okay cool. Makes sense. The final moments in the film gon be dope. All the Avengers, plus SW, QS & Vision versus Ultron. Mannn

I wonder what version they will be startin at. If there's a time gap, it would make sense that they arent starting at Ultron 1. Prolly starting with Ultron 3 or 4. Just a guess

I don't think it guarantees that. $44 for a weekend isn't really great and it can make very little money after it's opening considering GotG is next then TMNT. I'd wait on how much it make total after it is all said and done.



Plus with the Hunger Games success along with Divergent and other chick led comedy films Bridesmaids and the Heat would be enough to greenlit BW.


The thing is Marvel films easily go over $100m in budget and most of those other films I mentioned outside of Catching Fire are around $40m or less to make. I think if they can make BW for less than $100m, they can easily capitalize on it and make bank.

Either way, she earned budget back. A BW film would do that easily just beacuse of it being related to Marvel. They could make a BW movie on a decent budget As far as story goes, have her go to Russia and look for the Winter Soldier or whatever. 

Still don;t think a budget back will be key to BW film being made especially if Lucy only reaches $100m when it's all said and done. Not saying it'll only make that much but I think Disney/Marvel is still going to wait how much it makes the rest of the year.

Got lots of stiff challenges the coming weeks. Outside of GotG and TMNT I mentioned, there's also Expendables (thats PG13 now so it'll make more money), Sin City and that Madagascar spin-off.


Plus it didn't get positive reviews like you said, I was telling my friend that it got mostly good reviews and then dude pulls up RT on me and it's 58%.

Don't forget Lucy was rated R. And 58% is considered positive

Nah, 58% is considered rotten on RT.

I mean Lucy did good numbers, not disputing that but I'm just not sure Disney is comfortable green lighting BW until they see how it does the whole way through.

Not likely but if for some reason it makes around $60m-$80m when it is all said and done then that isn't a good number for Disney. It doesn't have to be a $500m movie, hell not even $200m but if for some reason it doesn't reach $100m, not sure they will be very impressed with it.

A couple months ago I was really into getting a solo Black Widow movie but now I'm really of the mindset that we use those energy and resources to come up with solo movies for new characters.

It's nice that Marvel thought outside the box with GotG and I hope that they'll keep doing that.

Honestly, we're going to see enough of Black Widow in Captain America and Avengers movies anyway

They'd be thinking out the box for a BW movie. We have yet to have a solo successful female led cbm. It opens up for more stories. If we were to get a BP movie instead, I'll take it, but I want to see that BW movie. Send her out to Russia, learn about her past, have her come across The Winter Soldier, whatever.... the potential is there.

Tweak some things in the movie Haywire and you're good to go with the BW movie. My interest on that solo movie would depend on who else is co-starring in that though as I'm good on a "solo" solo BW movie.

In terms of trying to spearhead a female character, yea doing a black widow solo would be thinking outside the box, but in my initial post, I mean outside the box in terms of new characters.
