WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

It really doesn't seem like Spider-Man is going to be in the film all that much. CW has been filming for some time now and I don't think he's even reported on set yet.

What are the odds Stark see this and it's what inspires him to design the Iron Spider suit?

Do you even think the Iron Spider suit's going to be showing up?

I mean, it's pretty iconic to Peter's role in CW. Him in the suit would really help show the symbolism that Pete's drinking the Stark Kool-Aid. But overall, it's still Marvel and the Iron Spider suit will be hyped up in 2016 like the Hulkbuster was this year. Easy money for them.

And like I mentioned earlier, I fully expect to see Stark pick up Pete while he's still wearing his homemade wrestling gear, give him the Iron Spidey suit, and then Cap or somebody gives him the traditional Spidey suit for the film's climax, web-wings and all.

even if he's not in the movie, the suit can still make an appearance.

I don't expect the movie to cover much of Civil war.

I'd wager 10 reps to whoever that the iron suit doesn't make an appearance. If I lose to you, I'll rep the next ten posts I see of yours.

We have to understand that these films are not direct adaptions. Iron Spidey suit makes no sense to be in this film seeing as how he's still new at this hero thing, and still has his homemade costume.

we've had 5 Spidey movies, endless cartoons , the old school tv show..

give us something new!!!!!!!!

Man y'all had me running to go see this movie in my off day. It's def good, but some of y'all are prisoners of the moment.

It was just another Marvel flick to me.

Hero traning montage [emoji]9989[/emoji]
battle against a clock of some sort [emoji]9989[/emoji]
No good guy dying  [emoji]9989[/emoji]
sprinkles of comedy & romance [emoji]9989[/emoji]

It was coo. Waiting of Capt & Suicide Squad for a darker tone.

You cant convince people with stockholm syndrome that they are being abused. Just when they were getting this down. Movie made me less faithful for Phase 3.

lol at NT praising this extended training montage. Still looking forward to Cap and Suicide Squad with curbed expectations of course.

Doesn't change the fact that it won't make sense.
The CW story (even the new one that's out currently with Secret wars)
Peter is a big part of the story. (the suit was already mentioned)

they dont have to do it in the movie at all. but it would make plenty of sense

Again, these films are not adapting the books like that. Peters role in this will be significantly reduced.

I think yall can't just accept ppl have difference of opinion and taste in these movies.

Plus yall must've been confused after Cap: TWS. Feige specifically said from here on out movies would be tackling specific genres not that everything would match the tone of Cap.

Not complaining about the tone. This was a standard cut and paste superhero movie. Nothing about it deserves praise other than we see a female who can kick ***.

seems like the ones who enjoyed ant-man the most are the same ones who felt somewhat underwhelmed by AoU

the change of pace was appreciated

Martin Freeman on his role in Civil War

“He works for the American government. He works in conjunction with the superheroes, and certain agencies that help to tame the superheroes’ power, I suppose. So you’re not quite sure which side he’s on. It looks a little bit like he’s playing one game when actually he’s playing another. It’s the kind of character I like because it’s ambiguous and because you don’t know whether he’s good or bad. I like that area that isn’t black or white, I like the grays, because I think there’s just more fun to be had in not playing one obvious line.”
