WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Best thing about AoU was The Vision and introducing BP's main villain

And you say that like that is merely something to gloss over. AoU expanded the earth side of the MCU big time. They gave you Vision in a movie, scarlett and Quick as well. Who would've thought that those Avengers would be on the big screen.

Making Ant-Man an enjoyable film is a much bigger feat (IMO) thank introducing those heroes.

I won't disagree but I feel like Ant man is on the same tier as Vision in terms of people knowing who they are outside of comic book circles.

I often wonder how Avengers 1 and the MCU for that matter would've been if Ant man and Wasp were introduced first in place of Black Widow and Hawkeye. Widow and Hawkeye could've been introduced in a film down the line. I think it would've meshed better

Antman (hank pym) is better known than I think you're giving credit for.
I think all 3 of them are equal in people outside of comics knowing them.

Infinity Stones are now being called "the Infinity Six" apparently..

Correction "Infinite Six"

AoU>>>>Ant Man and you high if you think differently
This man knows

You keep bringing up variations of this argument and never explain how its even relevant

I need to watch the blu ray of AOU, again when I watched I was tired, but I just remember not being as impressed as the first Avengers. They were trying to set up damn near 4 other movies which through AOU and its main purpose off to me.

Black Widow and Hawkeye had already been introduced in Thor and IM2 though. Both of them are very easy to introduce into any other heroes movie because neither of them really need a full introduction since their "powers" is just being highly skilled humans. I do agree it would of been better with antman in first Avengers, but I also believe they needed a full movie for him and they wanted to do their heavy hitters well know heroes first for solo flicks.

I was really against Ant man at first honestly.
I hate hank Pym, (from comic reading) so I didn't want it to happen over others.
but Scott Lang Antman has a more likeable story.

but ..... hanky wouldve made way more sense in avengers but i guess enlarging characters would've been hard. the CGI was already off the scales for Avengers.
but considering he is the real scientist behind Ultron it would've made way more sense.

Only 8 year difference. meh.

yall think after Thor 3 we'll see the female Thor (wonder if they'll use who it was revealed to be or pick another actress if they do)

Once all four Marvel Netflix shows have been launched, they'll cross over for Defenders, but "some will selectively have multiple seasons"
